What do you like best about Tenant Buddy?

As a landlord in Alberta, I wanted software built for Canadian rules, not a US tool I had to work around. The interface is clean, and I had my 14 units set up in an afternoon. When I got stuck on opening balances, I got a real person on a call who walked me through it. Pricing is very competitive compared to the US alternatives while being fast. Their document builder saves me hours every time I have a new tenant. Having everything under one platform makes both my job easier and my tenants experience better which is a welcome change for both me and the tenant. The integration with banks, be it through credit card, etransfer or ACH/EFT means everything is visible. They use AI to do expense receipt analysis and leave pdf analysis to automatically create expenses or lease/property/unit/tenants in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tenant Buddy?

No quickbooks or waves integration yet, so still need to do a csv export/import instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tenant Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was manually using excel spreadsheets to manage by tenants which meant doing all the tasks by hand, including sending over contracts and notices. With TenantBuddy, everything is within the same platform, so I just have to keep an eye on things and when I do need to send over new contracts or notices I can create them in the platform and send them over. This alone saves me hours every month. The other part is just having to forward the e-transfer email and the system is smart enough to know who it came from and mark that rent as paid, so it's zero effort almost to keep things on track. No more manual looking through the bank statements and the excel spreadsheet to check if the payment had been recorded. This system streamlined my operation, saving me time and giving me a much better overall picture of how my business is going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
