"Effective OT Security with Strong Asset and Vulnerability Visibility"

What do you like best about Tenable OT Security?

The combination of passive monitoring and safe, purpose-built active queries enables effective discovery of OT, IT, and IoT assets without disrupting system operations. Compared with traditional OT IDS solutions, the vulnerability detection capabilities are much stronger and provide more actionable information.

One of the features I find especially useful is the network map. It provides very good visibility into the environment and makes it easier to understand assets, connections, and communication paths.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform is well organized and relatively easy to navigate. Asset, vulnerability, and network information can be accessed without making the interface feel overly complicated. Performance has also been reliable, even when working with larger amounts of asset and network data.

Integration options are another advantage, as they make it easier to connect OT Security with the existing security infrastructure. The initial deployment and onboarding process are also straightforward, and the overall product experience is quite smooth once the environment is configured. What do you dislike about Tenable OT Security?

There is not much I dislike about the product. I would mainly like to see more customization options for dashboards and reports, especially for different teams and use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tenable OT Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tenable OT Security helps us continuously identify vulnerabilities across the network without interrupting industrial operations. It also provides valuable capabilities such as Code Revision monitoring, which helps us track changes in OT systems and better understand when configurations or logic are modified. With sensors, we can also collect visibility from isolated or network-segmented ICS environments that are not directly accessible from the main network. In addition, the ability to use agents where appropriate gives us another way to extend visibility. Overall, these capabilities help us reduce blind spots, detect changes and vulnerabilities earlier, and maintain better security visibility across complex OT environments.
