What do you like best about Temporal Cloud?

One of the features of Temporal Cloud that I found valuable, is it supports recovery and continuation of workflows when an individual step fails without manual intervention to restart the entire process. This comes handy, for instance, when we have applications that require multiple services to work in conjunction with each other. What do you dislike about Temporal Cloud?

It takes some time to get a sense of how to scope your workflows appropriately, especially if you come from a background of more classic background jobs. Similarly, debugging can be slightly awkward when you have a large workflow, and more descriptive failure messages would help teams with larger deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Temporal Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The most significant benefit is that it offloads some of the manual work associated with making background operations run consistently. When workflows aren't managed properly, failures result in continual debugging and additional developer effort. Temporal Cloud is an excellent mechanism for managing retries and a moving state that gets us out of a cycle of unnecessary work and frees up the team to work on infrastructure stability and other priorities.
