Temporal Cloud is great at delivering fault tolerance for really distributed systems. It just works. It can easily and consistently manage long running processes in code, allowing us to focus on business logic instead of constantly dealing with issues in the infrastructure (which I'm sure many of us face from time to time). The key to Temporal Cloud's magic is something called Durable Execution. This basically makes sure that your application code is run to the end by storing the workflow state. It really helps. Temporal SDKs are used to implement complex business logic. Then, with asynchronous replication, HA and DR make sure critical workflows keep running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was a bit of a struggle getting our team up to speed. It was one of our DevOps leads that spotted it first. We've spent a few weeks getting trained and now we've passed that, so it's time to get on with things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
