"Finally, a Single Source of Truth for IT Assets"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamDynamix ITAM?

The ecosystem integration is the standout. Asset records connect directly to users, tickets, and service data already living in TDX — there's no separate system to maintain or sync. For an institution migrating from scattered spreadsheets, the bulk import capability made it possible to move thousands of hardware and software asset records into a centralized, queryable inventory in a way that manual entry never could have achieved. Having a single source of truth for asset ownership and assignment has been foundational to both day-to-day IT operations and our broader software governance work. What do you dislike about TeamDynamix ITAM?

The import process demands more preparation than it should. Field formatting requirements are rigid and unforgiving — getting data into the system in bulk requires significant cleanup work before a single record can be loaded. Beyond that, there's no automated asset discovery, which means inventory accuracy depends entirely on manual updates. For a dedicated asset management product, that's a meaningful gap. Keeping records current requires ongoing administrative effort that a more mature ITAM solution would handle automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
