What do you like best about TaxTrex?

The most beneficial aspect is its systematic approach to project surveys, which guides users through the specific requirements of the Four-Part Test. The software automatically maps technical narratives to financial data, ensuring that every claimed expense is backed by a documented development activity. I also appreciate the centralized document repository, which keeps all version-controlled technical reports and supporting evidence in one place, making it easier to stay organized and audit-ready. What do you dislike about TaxTrex?

The user interface is purely functional and doesn’t offer advanced visualization dashboards for high-level project management reporting. Although the compliance workflows are robust, the options for creating custom filtering rules on historical project data feel somewhat limited, especially when compared with dedicated enterprise project management software. What problems is TaxTrex solving and how is that benefiting you?

TaxTrex solves the recurring problem of insufficient documentation, which is the primary cause of R&D tax audit adjustments. By automating data collection throughout the year, it saves our engineering and finance teams dozens of hours previously spent on retroactive data gathering.
