What stands out most to me is how effectively TASKING takes advantage of target-specific microcontroller architectures. When I’m working with multi-core platforms such as Infineon AURIX or ARM Cortex-R, the toolchain delivers excellent code density and execution performance right out of the box. The Linker Script Language (LSL) also provides granular control over memory allocation, which makes it easier to tune real-time, safety-critical firmware in a way that feels both straightforward and reliable. The built-in safety artifacts and pre-qualification packages for ISO 26262 ASIL D are a major highlight. Rather than spending weeks manually qualifying tools, TASKING provides clear documentation and safety manuals that make compliance audits much more straightforward. On top of that, the command-line flexibility makes it easy to integrate into modern CI/CD pipelines, including custom CMake workflows and automated build setups.
