What do you like best about Tabscanner?

It works, simple really. We needed an API for receipt parsing and Tabscanner was the right choice. Very easy to implement according to our software engineer.

Tabscanner provides custom API integrations, so our software engineer worked with them and found that hooking their API up to our app was straightforward.

From then on it was fast, accurate and captured all lines of data. They have used AI to get the speed lightning fast now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabscanner?

It doesn't bother us but perhaps some might want a fancier output with logos and whatnot. We are in it purely for the data extraction, so that stuff is irrelevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tabscanner solving and how is that benefiting you?

Research is what we use it for. We need to scan a load of receipts and this does it in less than a second. It put someone out of work (who was doing data entry all day) and costs us a fraction of his salary. We used to do spot checks and found mistakes maybe 3% of the time with a human. With Tabscanner it is 0% of the time almost: the only time there is something missing is when a new config is required for a new line item, which is very rare.
