CAD Designer/Adept Admin Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 8/5/2020 "Top Notch Customer Service" 5/5 What do you like best about Synergis Adept? i was grandfathered into a Document management position at Toray and didn't know a thing about Adept until i was hired . I have a gift of being able to pick up and learn software so i wasn't worried. Everything from the Adept experience, the help desk, and my first System Upgrade these folks are top notch with customer service . they really want you to succeed. We recently in 2025 finished the install of our custom plugin and charlie and his team have been great to work with . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Synergis Adept? i guess the only Dislikes are a few system limitations. Its a document management software and at Toray we try to use it and make it do things it was designed for. the viewer is another dislike however iv'e heard in 2025 release that is changing. The viewer curently doesn't have a option to print straight to a printer. I think once you learn the system there isn't a whole lot of dislikes. If you asked someone that doesn't understand the system there maybe more dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Synergis Adept: Im still only 1year into using Adept but , the positive thing i know for sure is if you need help they are willing to help you in a very timely maner. Document management is part of my job, and Being able to understand how to put files/drawings into the system and have the secure and be able to find them when someone ask for them. Currently that isn't the case, we have alot of missing meta data on the data cards but slowly we are adding that data. Using tools like file guides, smart search keys, column sets, data Base Fields, we are starting to realize Adept is a slick system that will do everything we need. And its not as difficult as i first thought. ...Update ive been at Toray for 5 years now and finiding drawings in adept is a breeze, if the drawing exist i can usally find it with no problem.
