The ease of setting up complex syncs. I work with multiple clients across several Microsoft 365 accounts, Google, and a self-hosted Mailcow (CalDAV) server. In SYNCDATE, getting all my client calendars to block time on each other took a single sync; the tool I used before needed six separate configurations for the same thing. Blocking my personal and work time across every client calendar was also a single sync.
It’s also fast and reliable. Microsoft changes show up almost instantly and CalDAV within 15 minutes, something my previous tool never managed consistently. The privacy controls let me decide exactly how much detail crosses over, so clients see that I’m busy without seeing who I’m meeting with. On top of that, it has an MCP server for automation, and the support has been almost fanatical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, not much. The only minor issue is that CalDAV calendars sync on a polling interval, so changes on my self-hosted server can take up to 15 minutes to appear, while Microsoft changes show up almost instantly. That comes from how CalDAV works rather than from SYNCDATE, and it hasn’t caused me a single scheduling problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
