What I like best about Swydo is how it pulls all our marketing performance data into one clean dashboard without forcing me to juggle a dozen separate native reports. I’m Lena Ucehe, Operations & Digital Manager at Aether Fine Atelier out in Des Moines. We’re a small luxury fine jewelry brand, and my days are packed managing CRM records, running our e-commerce shop, coordinating custom jewelry commissions, sorting expenses, and rolling out new tools for our sales and design team. Luxury jewelry marketing is pretty niche; we run ads on Meta and Google, send nurture emails for custom design inquiries, and track traffic to our private appointment booking page. Before Swydo, I had to log into each platform individually, export spreadsheets, and manually copy metrics over to build updates for our leadership. It was so repetitive and ate up hours every week.
What really makes it work for our brand is how customizable the report templates are. About two months ago, we launched a campaign promoting our bespoke engagement ring design service. I built a dedicated report inside Swydo that pulled together ad spend, inquiry volume, appointment bookings, and cost per lead all side by side. I could filter it just for that bespoke ring campaign, and even add notes specific to luxury retail — like how many leads asked for in-person studio consultations versus virtual design calls. Our founder doesn’t care about vanity clicks; they want to see which ads bring in serious buyers ready to discuss high-value custom pieces. Swydo let me tailor the view exactly to what we need, instead of being stuck with generic default marketing reports.
I also love how easy it is to schedule automated report deliveries. I set it to send a polished PDF snapshot straight to our founder’s inbox every Monday morning. I don’t have to compile, format, and share anything manually anymore. The branding controls are a nice touch too. I can drop in our brand logo, match our muted luxury color palette, so the finished reports feel aligned with our jewelry studio’s aesthetic, not like generic generic marketing exports. That matters for us, we keep everything polished and consistent for internal leadership reviews.
The permission settings fit our small team really well. I can share view-only report links with our marketing contractor so they can check campaign performance, without giving them access to edit our report layouts or pull data from our other active jewelry campaigns. That keeps our report setup consistent and avoids accidental changes that would mess up our trend tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, the biggest headache I deal with on Swydo is the unpredictable, uneven data refresh across all our linked advertising and sales channels. I’m Lena Ucehe, Operations & Digital Manager at Aether Fine Atelier here in Des Moines. Our brand focuses on handcrafted luxury fine jewelry, mostly bespoke engagement rings, heirloom redesigns and anniversary commissions. My day-to-day keeps me busy managing our CRM records, monitoring the Shopify storefront, coordinating every step of custom jewelry orders — from client mood board approvals, stone selection, CAD design reviews all the way through final studio pickup — tracking vendor and artisan expenses, plus rolling out and training our small team on all our business tools. We use Swydo to consolidate performance data pulled from Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo and Shopify for our bridal and heirloom jewelry marketing campaigns. Many of our high-value custom inquiries come in late in the evening, after clients finish work, so I usually pull up the dashboard first thing each morning to review how our bespoke ring and redesign ads performed overnight.
Time and time again, different platforms refresh at completely different speeds. One morning not long ago, Google Ads data was fully up to date, showing the prior night’s spend and inquiry submissions accurately. But our Meta Ads feed was still locked into the previous day’s totals — spend numbers, form submissions and custom design appointment leads hadn’t updated at all. The combined report looked wildly misleading. I nearly forwarded that PDF snapshot straight to our founder, who uses these numbers to decide our monthly ad budget for rare gemstone campaigns, before I spotted the discrepancy. What makes this even more frustrating is there’s no single toggle to trigger a full, synchronized refresh for every connected data source. The built-in manual refresh button is hit or miss; often it only reloads one individual channel, leaving the rest of our metrics outdated. That means I’m forced to cross-reference every key KPI one by one inside Meta, Google, Klaviyo and Shopify’s native dashboards, which erodes almost all the time-saving benefit we wanted from centralized automated reporting.
I’m also constrained by how basic Swydo’s custom calculated metric builder is for our luxury jewelry workflows. I tried setting up a recurring metric to track our true cost per confirmed custom design appointment. For our studio, this number needs to exclude casual window-shopper leads who fill out the inquiry form just to browse inspiration, never reply to our design consultant’s follow-up email and have no real intention of moving forward with stone sourcing or CAD work. Stacking filters for ad source, inquiry category, and follow-up response status together became unwieldy very quickly. The formula functionality lacks the layered segmentation controls we need to separate serious commission prospects from low-engagement browsers. I’ve yet to get that clean calculation working reliably within Swydo itself. Most weeks, I end up exporting the raw CSV dataset, then build and compute that breakdown manually in Excel before sharing the finalized report internally.
If the product team could refine two core areas, it would make a massive difference for brands like ours. First, add a dedicated “full sync” button that refreshes every connected data source at the same time, with a clear loading status so I know when all channels are done updating. Second, expand the custom metric engine to support multi-condition filters and lead-status segmentation, so I can build tailored KPIs that fit high-ticket retail instead of only generic e-commerce use cases. These changes would cut down hours of manual validation each week and let me spend more time supporting our design team and nurturing our custom jewelry clients.
