There are a lot to love about Swit, but there are few standouts that I love - The joining of messaging system and project management system really allows for an increase productivity of work. The fact that you do not have to switch to a different app when doing PM things is very convenient. The convenience is also amplified by the Tabs tab where you are able to work on Google docs right in the app. - The ideas tab is a good way of making a note that is a bit too long to be a message on a channel, but is topo short to make a separate document for. We use this feature a lot just to jot down notes, or to take quick meeting notes. - The Google Workspace integration is amazing, which especially works well as our team constantly shares data and documentation that lives on Google Drive. We no longer have to go to Google drive, but can search for the item we want, and drag and drop it to a channel - The AI feature is great too. I personally use the Taskify and Summarize function a lot. The Taskify function seems to always get the Task name and checklist correctly, saving me a lot of time converting a message into a Task. - Swit team is amazingly helpful and resourceful. They took the time to set our whole team up with an onboarding session so that we can get used to the Swit environment. In addition, they were very helpful when I had questions regarding the product, or was having trouble with some of the functionality. Their customer support is impeccable. Overall, as the app that really lies in the center of our team, we use it constantly and everything goes through this app, and I cannot recommend it enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Swit? All the constructive criticism I have for this app are nitpicky and minor. - I wish there was an option to send a message that I respond on a thread to the entire channel. - The mobile app can be a bit buggy sometimes, compared to the web or native app. - I wish autocorrect was available on the app. - I wish there was a native Linux app, or at least a webapp that runs natively on Firefox without having to find an alternative route to make it run on Firefox - I wish there was an indicator that signals whether another user is typing or not. Right now, there is no such indication, so I cannot tell if they are typing or doing nothing. - I hope that the project managemet portion of the app can be even stronger, with Jira-like capabilities. The one I miss the most is the ability to generate a proper Gantt Chart that spans accross the entire workspace. There are all very nitpicky and minor. I understand that Swit is still at its infancy as a company and a software, and I hope that these features will be realized as time passes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Swit solving and how is that benefiting you? The problem that we had was how the non-PM employees were not participating in PM side of the work enough. I believe that this was because there are a lot of overhead in current PM software where getting set up and being knowledgeable takes more time than doing actual work. A lot of employees, especially engineers, work the best with just a simple checklist and a high level view of the tasks that they need to do. I believe that Swit's biggest strength is making this simple while keeping it integrated and organized. The engineers can just focus on doing their task and care minimally about the PM side of things, and the manager can send reminders and bumps to the employees and teams by just referencing the tasks that they need to complete. The simplification that Swit provides results in an increase of efficiency in both the actual work being done and the organization of project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
