It is impossible to remain indifferent towards Rancher. Either one loves and accepts him in his entirety, or hates him precisely for what it is .... and it is open, good, versatile, with huge possibilities and potential to use :) Its main advantages in my opinion are openness, massive community support, freedom to change and adapt to the required needs. In addition, its well-thought-out design and well-directed development fits the needs of the market and the changing IT environment. Currently also available, the Prime and Suite versions are a comprehensive offer for companies, including a complete environment for creating containerization and virtualization platforms anywhere with many add-ons such as security, storage, observability and application collection (SLSA) and many more. The environment is constantly evolving and providing new functionalities, so any potential problems and shortcomings are a natural consequence of this development, especially since it is a platform for managing entire ecosystems across all infrastructure variants. In the current phase of its development, it is achieving ever-increasing stability and maturity, offering more and more interesting flavors, especially in enterprise offerings.
