What do you like best about SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop?

SUSE has been around for 30 years and is mature and stable; most programs work out of the box. SUSE prioritizes stability over untested features that may contain bugs and make your system unstable. Thanks to SUSE sharing a code base with the OpenSUSE project, there is a large community that is welcoming and happy to help you, while the price for support directly from SUSE is well priced. What do you dislike about SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop?

A disadvantage of SUSE putting stability before new features is that programs that use new packages and features can be difficult or even impossible to install. Linux generally has problems with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4; the system works, but the problem is that the Surface pen and the Surface keyboard do not work; this is not specifically for SUSE but for most Linux systems. What problems is SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work with many documents and create network topologies and configurations for networks using Cisco Packet Tracer and GNS3. I have noticed a marked difference in performance in favor of SLED compared to colleagues who use both Microsoft Windows and Debian-based Linux distributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
