The token and component sync works best for us. Pipelines are very fast and easy to create, although we did have to customize ours to fit our needs. Documenting components via MCP isn’t possible right now, and that’s the biggest missing piece in our overall pipeline with Supernova.

The pipelines could also be stronger and more customizable. For example, on the web side we ended up creating our own pipeline because we couldn’t achieve the Tailwind structure we were aiming for.

We’re using the native Supernova plugin in Figma, but the supported token types still aren’t sufficient. Because Supernova wasn’t picking up those token types from our design system, we had to do a lot of manual work in Supernova and remove those items from Figma to keep things consistent.
