What do you like best about Stellar Data Recovery for Windows?

I found Stellar to be very user-friendly. The interface was easy to use and designed well. The initial scan took a couple of hours to discover about 650 GB of files, and after completing the scan it was easy to locate specific files I wanted to check for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stellar Data Recovery for Windows?

In an ideal world, I would have been able to recover my lost files for free, but at least the standard license wasn't too expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stellar Data Recovery for Windows solving and how is that benefiting you?

I accidentally turned my external hard drive into a recovery drive and needed to recover my data. Most personal data recovery software companies will let you scan for files using a free version, and then ask for an activation key in order to recover the files. Stellar Data Recovery is no exception but I ran scans of the hard drive using trial versions of a few different recovery software, and Stellar seemed to discover the most files. Since I purchased a 1-year license of the standard version (the minimum offered), I will probably try out the other features besides disaster recovery and update my review to reflect my future experience.
