I like being able to query data across multiple sources without moving everything into one place. Starburst’s SQL compatibility makes it easy to work with, especially for developers familiar with SQL, and its distributed query execution, data source connectors, and query optimization help me access databases and data lakes through one SQL interface. I appreciate its query performance, scalability, and integration with different data sources and analytics tools. Its query engine handles large datasets efficiently, reduces data movement, and makes data access and analytics workflows faster and easier to manage. I found the initial setup relatively straightforward, but configuring data source connections and fine-tuning settings required some technical knowledge. New users may need time to understand the configuration process, especially when connecting multiple data sources. Query performance can also vary depending on the data source and configuration.
