I currently use the Toolhive solution to orchestrate MCP server connections on my device. The registry feature makes it easy to register different AI agents and helps Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code discover them. I also count on an interface that greatly simplifies the management and discovery of MCP servers through a dedicated registry. The overall performance is good, it is an open source solution that we can contribute and also receive support from the community with no charges. Really great solution. I really appreciate Stacklok and their team, but I do think that the MCP protocol is still not entirely designed to facilitate the integration for users that are less technical.
