**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

What stands out most about Square Point of Sale for ROTHLEYS GROUP is how it balances simplicity with flexibility something that’s especially valuable if you’re operating different services. Staff can get up to speed quickly, which reduces training time and keeps operations running smoothly. 
Another strong point is its integrated ecosystem. Payments, reporting, inventory, and customer data all sit in one place. That makes it easier to track performance across sites and maintain consistency in how services are delivered and billed.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

One of the main concerns is transaction fees. While Square is convenient, its per-transaction pricing can become expensive over time, particularly for businesses with high volumes or larger ticket sizes. Unlike some competitors, there’s limited room to negotiate lower rates.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It also removes complexity from taking payments. Whether you’re on-site, remote, or working across cities, you can accept payments quickly and securely without needing multiple tools. That reliability improves cash flow and reduces the time spent chasing payments.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

I love the ease of automations that Square Point of Sale provides. The automated reminders and the integrations are super helpful. The automations include automatic payment reminders, which help my clients keep track of when their payments are due. It also allows clients to automatically save their payments on file for repeat transactions, saving me time and manual work. I also like the estimates feature, which is very helpful for our business since we usually provide estimates after consultation calls. I appreciate that Square was very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

One thing that I wish Square Point of Sale did have was possibly a few more features for maybe the free plan. It is a little limited. A little more flexibility with the free plan would be great.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Square Point of Sale makes payment collection easier than other platforms. It provides automated reminders and integrations, allowing clients to save payments on file. It consolidates deposit and remainder charges into a single invoice and includes an estimates feature, crucial for my service business.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

I really like how Square Point of Sale allows me to take various payments on demand, whether I'm using a tablet or phone. It's convenient to have the flexibility of collecting payments on any device I'm using, including being able to manually key in card numbers when needed. This feature was especially handy when I experienced issues with tap payments at a pop-up shop. It ensures that my customers can still purchase what they want without any hassle. I also found the initial setup surprisingly easy, which was a pleasant surprise.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

The tap feature requires internet access, and even though I had great internet access on my mobile device and access to Wi-Fi, the tap function wasn't the best.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Square Point of Sale to take various payments on demand. It's handy since I can collect payments on any device and manually key in card numbers if needed.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

What I love most and square point of sale is how accessible our funds are right after having a sale! It allows me to be able to give my customers the best possible experience because we know we can invest in the tools necessary to do so.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

The only thing that would make square point of sale even better is making the same things that’s available on the desktop version, available on the app. Being able to have access to things like marketing campaigns and newsletters from the app would make the overall experience so much easier on the go.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Square Point of sale solving the problem so many small business have when it comes to banking because They allow us to have access to our funds immediately, they allow us to communicate seamlessly with our customers, and we don’t have to stress over membership fees just to use the platform.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

Square for Retail has great features for inventory tracking, including a receiving feature and cost of goods reports.  Transactions are generally quick and easy on the point of sale register or handheld terminal, and Square provides nonprofits like ours with a discounted credit card processing rate.  Switching from Clover POS to Square POS has allowed us to save on processing fees and helps us keep better track of our inventory.  It also allows us to use online payment links without needing a full online store.  Another feature we like is the Customer Directory, which automatically captures customer data, as well as allows us to group customers so we can give unique discounts to different membership levels.  The directory is also helpful for reporting visitor demographics and visitor return rates (we can see who returns weekly, monthly, or has visited only once).

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

The major downside of Square is it's lack of adequate customer support.  I often have to wait hours on the phone, only to be told there is a glitch or issue that nobody knows how to fix yet,  After several days, the issue may resolve itself, but I am never followed up with, and never informed of what caused the issue or how it was fixed.

While Square advertises it has integrations with many other software products, we have found that most of those integrations are actually not customizable enough for our needs.  For example, only a few of the fields are able to be sent through third party integration apps like Zapier.  We have also tried the Quickbooks integration (it only sent a general sales figure over, not different figures for nontaxable and taxable sales), and the WooCommerce integration (cannot use products with multiple variable features online - like a tee shirt with a size variation AND a color variation), so we have not been able to use any integrations.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

Very easy to enter all products before hand and even enter custom sales on the go all while keeping track of inventory after sales is made simple. Support is quick to help if you have any problems with set up.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

Haven't experienced any downsides, they even have options for when there is no wifi, and you can easily use cellular data (it doesn't take much at all to operate)

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to process payments away from our place of business (such as markets and events) we can easily customize the payment options before hand and even during events it doesn't take long. We set up simple options for just a push of a button to enter in sales easily.

I find Square Point of Sale to be incredibly easy to use, which makes the process simple for customers to make payments. It's an incredible way to take payments from clients and manage my invoices. The ability to set up my products and services and then allow customers to purchase them is great. The initial setup was very simple.

I think the mobile app could use some help in terms of user experience.

Square Point of Sale is an incredible way to take payments and manage invoices for my business. It's incredibly easy to use, simplifying payment processes for customers, and allows me to set up products and services effortlessly.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

I have journals that I sell during my courses, and Square Point of Sale makes it easy to accept multiple forms of payment. I like that it works on phones and tablets because I carry both with me. It also allows me to set up multiple ways to pay, using both a tablet and a phone, meaning there's no limit to where I can go and use Square, making it simple for people to purchase from me even if they don't have cash. The setup was very easy, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

I find that the 2.6% flat rate fees can add up over time, reducing profit margins.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Square Point of Sale to accept multiple payment forms. It solves inventory tracking, sales reports, and analytics issues, making payments flexible with my phone and tablet.

**What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?**

I like how Square Point of Sale is so easy to use, even for someone who's never used a point of sale system before. It was one of the first systems I used, and it really made learning to understand, register, and sell products to customers very simple with minimal experience. The usability is great; it's visually appealing, so I don't dread having to use it at work. Plus, the simplicity makes it so much easier to use. I also really appreciate the option for discounts and how easy it is to put them through and edit them. The ability to refund someone easily when a mistake is made is another feature I really like.

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

I don't know if Square Point of Sale has recently added it, but maybe adding a customer award system could improve it. It would be great if it could track the same credit card or email address to offer more connection and incentives for customers to return, enhancing the customer-company relationship.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Square Point of Sale makes it really easy to sell products by allowing me to effortlessly handle different product prices and transactions with just a click.

Easy to use. Accepts tap to pay without the need of a gadget. The reports are easy to understand. Payout is efficient

**What do you dislike about Square Point of Sale?**

It has fees that either needs to be absorbed by us or passed on the customer.

**What problems is Square Point of Sale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can still use this for personal business instead of our non-profit sales. Square is still efficient and allows us to track our sales effectively.
