Previously you can install the SQL server only on windows machine so it is very difficult for mac/centos users to use the SQL server database.

But now we can easily install SQL server on the CentOS server so there is no need to use VM and VDI to use sql database on ContOS.

CentOS uses the linux bases distribution system so now Linux users can use SQL server database hasslefree.

Microsoft released all the functionality of SQL server datbase on CentOS so there is no feature which is available for Windows but not for CentOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is bigger relaxation for Linux users to use SQL database without using VM or VDI so I dont see any limitation in this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
