The implementation is simple and easily integrated into daily management for any paid user. Their customer support is outstanding and replies promply. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** Adding a feature for AI (Riveria) to send alerts for bidding events and/or performance spikes would be a great value-add. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** First, the tool greatly increases the value of our ad spend by identifying critical opportunities and/or new audiences to capture through paid ads, especially in areas where our competitors are focused, which helps us find better opportunities at a lower cost. Second, it significantly reduces the time needed to create and align our SEO efforts, and it improves the overall process of optimising organic data for content, blogs, and SEO. ### 2. Every year our team reviews similar applications and every year they demand to keep using SpyFu. My agency uses SpyFu for both SEO and Paid Search and especially for research and spying on competitors Ads. We also send reports to our clients, which they greatly appreciate and helps with retainage. All of the tools are useful. Plus, they introduce new tools all the time. Strongly suggest you try it for a year. Easy to use and the best price out there. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** To be honest my team and I like everything. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Client and Competitor Research: Fast and easy for SEO and PPC research. Client Retainage: Provides automated reports to clients. Reports are easy to read and understand. Get New Clients: For example, very cool when you can show a client the Ad History of a competitor. ### 3. The thing that attracted me to your service, and has kept me a customer for the past 3 years, is the usefulness of your data. I run multiple businesses in different niches; however, I can use SpyFu to watch my domain rankings, spy on the competition, perform keyword research, reverse engineer competitors' ads, and so much more. Thanks for providing and maintaining such an awesome resource. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** Sometimes data is missing. For example, I know a competitor s running ads, but the results aren't in SpyFu. My guess is the ad is too new, and SpyFu hasn't found it yet. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use their keyword research and PPC research the most. These tools help me find new opportunities to expand my market share. ### 4. While SpyFu does not give you nearly as much information and insight as Ahrefs and SEMrush (which are pricey). SpyFu is a great option for lower budgets. SpyFu is very user friendly and has a great dashboard display. It is great at giving you organic keywords that you can easily rank for and a great foundation for paid keywords. Another one of my favorite features of SpyFu is it makes it easy to compare yourself to competitors and learn from them. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** One thing I wish SpyFu did better is their presentation of keyword information upfront. For example, both Ahrefs and SEMrush give you search volume, keyword difficulty, traffic potential, clicks, CPC, and parent topics. Upfront, SpyFu gives you search volume. It takes a few more clicks to get more data about the keyword. I find slightly frustrating. When doing a high level of keyword research, those clicks can take a lot of time. All in all, SpyFu is a great tool in my opinion if you're looking for a cheaper SEO tool. You’ll get your money’s worth from SpyFu. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a cheap tool that meets our budget and meets our basic SEO and Paid Advertising Needs. ### 6. I use this for SEO, but also for new client research, site development, and for development of my own business. It's a fantastic bargain compared to other available tools and an equalizer for smaller agencies. I also like that it provides leading KPI's for website performance long before GA-4 picks them up because it tracks search results to 100 places. This allows me to show results earlier than server-side analytics can track. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** There's nothing I really dislike about it, except that some of my clients operate in such niche categories that even SpyFu can't track them. Complaints I've read about inaccuracy have not been evident to me. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** SpyFu helps me identify actual search trends and keywords that my client may be missing—identifying opportunities for growth and conquest. ### 7. I also like that I can see questions that people ahve asked about specific topics. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** As of 10-30-2024 I have not found any dislikes yet. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** SpyFU solves the SEO problems which benefits me on being better found in search engines. It solves the problems not knowingwhich domains are available for specifc keywords, how much the comepetion is spending on ads, specifics keywords and it benefits me by showing what the competitions top ads are. ### 8. What really sets them apart is ease of use and pricing. We used other products like SEMrush for a lot of the functionality that Spyfu provides. The competitor tools may simply be the best in the game. The ability to track your competition easily and quickly can give any business or agency a huge leg up. The program is easy to use on a daily if not hourly basis. Customer support is quick to answer but also provide solutions. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** Reporting isn't great for what current clients prefer so most of it can't be used. The issues are mostly aesthetic. The other issue is the accuracy of SEO clicks. It is almost always about 1/10th of the actual results when compared to Google Analytics. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Competition for SEO has never been greater. With Google trying to push more people to paid ads, it has almost become cut throat. We use SpyFu almost daily for both our clients and us. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** The only thing I dislike is not so much a dislike as a challenge; The ease of use is a little difficult for a novice, but between working with the system and customer support, anybody can do well with it in a short amount of time. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can see the competition between our clients as well as ourselves both organically and those that are paid. I also love their reports and tutorials as it makes it easy to understand how to create comparative reports for keyword analysis. The best thing about SpyFu is their customer support. Just very easy to deal with and they are very fast at helping you out. I spoke to Danielle recently and was simply blown away by the no-nonsense, straight to resolving issue approach and very friendly. I really think their biggest strength outside of being a comprehensive and robust SEM and SEO tool is their level of support. TOTAL GAME CHANGER. Really appreciate your help Danielle !! **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** There's actually not a whole lot I don't like about it. The platform as I said before is very easy to use and it does take some time to get through all theiir different things that they offer so I think the best approach is to consume their content over a few weeks but using their platform regularly to get well acquainted. Best bang for buck platform in my opinion. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its very intuitive and I've had a few friends in the industry say to me its' just much easier to understand the data but also the summary reports are incredibly insightful.
