**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Cost!  Features!  Support!  My last system was very costly and Splashtop is much more affordable and supports more computers.  The features are great and growing.  Third party path management apps is growing.  Support works with me on issues and implementing suggestions to make the system better!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I have some ideas that would be great but it is not a dislike.  I have a list of Scripts and Task that would be great to be able to choose several of the to run instead of one at a time.  Again a suggestion but not a dislike.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remembering password in the browser so I don't have to enter it again and again.  Also an issue where pushing out a file via scripts and the file requires logging in as admin to use it.  They told me how to change rights on the folder as a quick patch and are actively working to change this in th system to not have this issue.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

What I love most is how reliable it is for the price. There is nothing worse than lagging when you’re trying to fix a problem on someone else's screen, and Splashtop genuinely feels like you’re sitting right in front of the actual computer. The file transfer and chat functions are seamless, and it doesn't try to be a million different things. It just focuses on being a really great, secure remote tool.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

If I have to nitpick, the user interface can feel a bit dated compared to some of the newer SaaS tools on the market. It’s totally functional and easy to navigate, but it just doesn't look as modern as it could. I'd also love to see built-in ticketing integrations.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With so many people working remotely now, keeping track of device security across different home networks is a massive headache. Splashtop gives us a secure, encrypted way to monitor and access those machines without compromising privacy. The benefit to me is pure peace of mind, knowing we have robust logging, dual-purpose authentication, and reliable access without leaving our network vulnerable.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Support basically works as advertised and is a reliable remote access service. It has been a solid remote support product, despite having a few issues over the years. I especially appreciate that I can connect and just view the session while assisting the client over a Teams call or a phone call. This approach allows me to guide the client, helping them learn from the remote session instead of me just taking control and doing it for them. I also found the installation and deployment pretty simple overall, despite some issues with older operating systems. Additionally, the pricing aspect is much better compared to other products I've used in the past, which made it a main reason for switching to Splashtop.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The remote access speed can be lagging at times. I've noticed instability at times with the remote session. Sometimes it's due to the Internet connection, but other times, I can't explain why the session is lagging. Also, the Splashtop streamer product that actually runs on the remote machine can consume a significant amount of CPU while I'm actively connected to the system.

Splashtop Remote Support helps me support client applications and hardware remotely, guiding them through solutions to enhance learning. It's reliable for remote access, letting me assist clients effectively while on calls. It works as advertised for their remote office locations.

Splashtop Remote Support often lacks robust reporting and automation capabilities, which can feel insufficient for IT teams that need deeper, self-healing workflows or more detailed insights into technician performance. A few times, the drag-and-drop file transfer hasn’t worked for me, and that can slow things down. Additionally, many advanced governance features—such as granular permission controls and SSO integration—are gated behind expensive higher-tier plans, which makes the platform feel less cost-effective as an organization scales.

Splashtop Remote Support addresses the problem of laggy remote sessions by delivering a high-performance, low-latency visual experience that genuinely feels like you’re sitting at the machine. Compared with Pulseway’s more complex, RMM-first approach, Splashtop provides a more affordable and streamlined setup that stays focused on seamless unattended access and strong multi-monitor support. For me, that translates into less time wasted on “click-heavy” troubleshooting and a more intuitive interface for straightforward, direct remote assistance.

Splashtop Remote Support has been a reliable solution for our IT team. It's easy to set up, connects quickly, and makes troubleshooting remote devices straightforward. The performance is smooth, and features like unattended access and file transfer save us a lot of time. There are a few areas where I'd like to see more customization and reporting options, but overall it's an excellent value and a dependable remote support solution

The deployment of the remote app was easy to push to endpoints. It also allows me to use the Admin functions of the remote device including any popup windows requiring authentication.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The cost per technician is high in my opinion.

I am a 100 percent remote company. The response to my end users is very fast. I am able to quickly connect to their devices and solve their issues. The user interface is fast and easy to use.

We previously used other solutions that did not guarantee the security of connections, nor the cross-platform aspect, and even less the power of the tool. Here, in addition, the support is TOP-notch, and that is so rare.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I can immediately click on a Turquoise computer name and it allows me to connect immediately. Also, it is very responsive although at times, I have had to re-establish the connection.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Would like to see a neon border when connected to users desktop. or some other indication.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SplashTop to mainly connect to Macs and Mac Books and it connects great for now.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like the file transfer and chat functions during my connections. Splashtop Remote Support has always provided me with great support, especially during COVID when I was managing a school IT system. The file transfer option is really useful as I can transfer installation files from my laptop to the remote computers ahead of time. The chat function is convenient when a client is at their desk, making it easier than being on the phone sometimes. Also, the initial setup was very simple. I've stuck with Splashtop because of the support I've received over the years.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Sometimes the remote service stops or logs off without notifying me. If my account is logged out on the client side, I would like to receive a notification (e.g. email or in the app).

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Support lets me connect to clients' devices remotely, saving trips. I use file transfer for installations and chat for easier client support. The great support especially during COVID was invaluable.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like how Splashtop Remote Support allows us to support our customers remotely without having to visit sites anymore. I find the headless access feature particularly valuable as it gives us access to servers without needing to be on site. This feature also allows us to set up headless units wherever needed without worrying about access once they're installed. Additionally, I appreciate how the setup was really easy and only took five to ten minutes with everything integrated.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The connectivity isn't always as seamless as it should be, and sometimes you have to restart the streamer process. The copy and paste function sometimes fails as well.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Support to provide remote support to customers without visiting sites, offering headless access to servers and flexibility in deploying headless units.
