## Splashtop Remote Support Reviews
  ### 1. Fast, Secure 4K Remote Support with Smooth Unattended Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan D. | Technology Officer, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop Remote Support is widely praised for its high-performance technology, delivering 4K resolution and 60fps streaming with low latency, which makes remote troubleshooting feel almost like being physically present. It also stands out for its versatility, thanks to strong cross-platform compatibility and "unattended access," letting you manage and patch devices across Windows, Mac, and Android without requiring an end user to be there. In addition, it offers enterprise-grade security with AES 256-bit encryption and multi-factor authentication, helping ensure a safe, reliable connection when managing sensitive infrastructure. I love its fast connectivity & ease of use interface design.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Splashtop Remote Support often lacks robust reporting and automation capabilities, which can feel insufficient for IT teams that need deeper, self-healing workflows or more detailed insights into technician performance. A few times, the drag-and-drop file transfer hasn’t worked for me, and that can slow things down. Additionally, many advanced governance features—such as granular permission controls and SSO integration—are gated behind expensive higher-tier plans, which makes the platform feel less cost-effective as an organization scales.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Support addresses the problem of laggy remote sessions by delivering a high-performance, low-latency visual experience that genuinely feels like you’re sitting at the machine. Compared with Pulseway’s more complex, RMM-first approach, Splashtop provides a more affordable and streamlined setup that stays focused on seamless unattended access and strong multi-monitor support. For me, that translates into less time wasted on “click-heavy” troubleshooting and a more intuitive interface for straightforward, direct remote assistance.

  ### 2. Essential Remote Support with Stellar Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin R. | Photographer/Videographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like the file transfer and chat functions during my connections. Splashtop Remote Support has always provided me with great support, especially during COVID when I was managing a school IT system. The file transfer option is really useful as I can transfer installation files from my laptop to the remote computers ahead of time. The chat function is convenient when a client is at their desk, making it easier than being on the phone sometimes. Also, the initial setup was very simple. I've stuck with Splashtop because of the support I've received over the years.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Sometimes the remote service stops or logs off without notifying me. If my account is logged out on the client side, I would like to receive a notification (e.g. email or in the app).

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Support lets me connect to clients' devices remotely, saving trips. I use file transfer for installations and chat for easier client support. The great support especially during COVID was invaluable.

  ### 3. Efficient Remote Support with Minor Connectivity Issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like how Splashtop Remote Support allows us to support our customers remotely without having to visit sites anymore. I find the headless access feature particularly valuable as it gives us access to servers without needing to be on site. This feature also allows us to set up headless units wherever needed without worrying about access once they're installed. Additionally, I appreciate how the setup was really easy and only took five to ten minutes with everything integrated.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The connectivity isn't always as seamless as it should be, and sometimes you have to restart the streamer process. The copy and paste function sometimes fails as well.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Support to provide remote support to customers without visiting sites, offering headless access to servers and flexibility in deploying headless units.

  ### 4. Incredibly Intuitive and Versatile Remote Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** showbizjosh40 C. | Senior System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I love using Splashtop Remote Support as it makes it easy to manage all of our company computers through both a web browser and their dedicated app. The ease of use is amazing, and I love how quick and seamless it is to move between systems. The granular controls are fantastic, allowing me to adjust session performance metrics like FPS and resolution. Another feature I appreciate is the virtual display driver, which lets me simulate multiple display setups on a single-screen laptop, maximizing productivity. The intuitive dashboard is incredibly useful, providing a clear breakdown of operating systems, software versions, and antivirus status across devices. It's indispensable for managing our equipment inventory, whether online or offline. The tracking of remote user sessions is another helpful tool, aiding in audit and decision-making processes. Installing Splashtop is a breeze, and even the email link installation option is incredibly convenient, especially for remote machines. The cross-platform support is great, working smoothly on Windows and macOS, and though Linux support has its challenges, it's appreciated that it's available. I'm definitely impressed with the service, and I'd highly recommend it for those using Windows, as it's well-integrated and familiar to our staff.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I'd really like to see maybe a bit more of certain inventory things. Splashtop is really working towards getting better at inventory management, but it would be really cool to see some more options. Another thing I would like to see is if there's any other way to remotely install software through Splashtop. It's not something I'm exactly looking for, but it would be nice to see something like that improved. Also, installing it on Linux is an absolute pain sometimes because it does not work well like you might think it does. You might have blurry images, font problems, and scaling problems.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Splashtop Remote Support incredibly useful for managing inventory and getting an up-to-date listing of all our equipment. It's easy to switch between devices, track user sessions, and its intuitive dashboard breaks down systems clearly, making support and auditing more efficient.

  ### 5. Essential Tool with Easy Remote Access, Minor Streamer Glitch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roderick Y. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Support is easy to use – I pushed the Splashtop Streamer to each computer using Microsoft InTune, and after that, remoting in is as easy as clicking on a computer. The AEM dashboard is immediately available for me to see each computer's status and perform fixes if necessary. It allows me to virtually be present on each computer, making maintenance and addressing staff concerns feasible without having to physically travel. Splashtop also helps clarify issues more clearly than Microsoft does sometimes, allowing me to decide whether to use Splashtop or InTune to implement solutions. The setup was straightforward; I just needed to upload the deployment package to InTune, push it out, and it was done. Overall, the remote access and monitoring capabilities are crucial and affordable given our budget constraints.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The main issue I have with Splashtop not working is that a laptop can only be accessed if they are on, open, and the streamer is still functional. Often when the laptop goes to sleep, the streamer stops working, and the user has to restart the computer in order for me to be able to remote in. The staff are pretty good about it, but it's the one major downside.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Splashtop Remote Support to manage computers remotely and enhance security, which is vital since our schools are in isolated areas. It allows me to virtually maintain computers and address staff concerns without the need for costly travel, effectively making my job feasible.

  ### 6. Essential Tool for Seamless Remote Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatin P. | Head of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like that Splashtop Remote Support is our primary tool for remote support. It's essential for remote work, allowing us to not be in front of a troubled computer. I also appreciate its comprehensive feature set, which is constantly being improved or added to, like the ability to send remote commands without having to physically connect to an end user's device. This feature is extremely valuable as it allows us not to interrupt users while they work. The price point of Splashtop Remote Support is exceptional, and the setup was extremely straightforward, with the agent deploying as you would with any other MSI.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The desktop console app for administrators sometimes crashes or hangs. I've noticed this recently. I hope they improve the reliability of it, as this has only been an issue over the last 6 months or so.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Support is essential for remote work; it allows us to handle issues without being physically present. The ability to send remote commands without interrupting users makes it extremely valuable.

  ### 7. Unmatched Remote Access with Impressive Timeliness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJ S. | Adjunct Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I like being able to log in without a delay, which is very important to us. I appreciate all the different features, including the ability to turn off the screen and continue working. Splashtop Remote Support is one of the best tools we use. The timeliness and timeline feature are crucial because we work with flying an aircraft in simulation and need to control the aircraft from abroad. The initial setup was very easy and seamless, and we've been using it for three years now after recommendations. It's been fantastic in terms of security compared to other software we've tried.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

I would love to have access to BIOS early on. It's a challenge using multiple computers at once, but Splashtop works well with it. We also experience a lot of blocking from various clients due to access issues, requiring IT policy approvals.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Remote Support solves remote access and delay issues, allowing me to control aircraft simulators globally with real-time precision.

  ### 8. A Reliable Tool for Remote Work and IT Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop?**

in Splashtop it is incredibly quick to set up and simple enough for anyone to use. As a Customer support executive many time we face people who are not that tech savvy and many time the simple task to get us connected to their PC becomes such a hassle but splashtop is incredibly easy and we have also integrated with out Hotel PMS system to make the process of connecting Customer support person to the Hotel PC the fastest way possible. also the options like clipboard Sync, File transfer feature, Multi Monitor Access Help us on Daily basis to make our work Smooth & efficient.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop?**

I dont really have any issues with the splashtop, its just that the UI of the Splashtop business can be bit better and good looking. but other than that the interface is easy to use, and customer support team use is on daily basis and we have no complaints there. The core functionality if the product is done perfectly.

**What problems is Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

as a Customer support executive, Splashtop is very important part of our daily workflow. the system is clean and stright foward and easy to understand so the client can connect us to their PC. The smooth connection quality and reliable file transfer features make problem-solving much faster.

  ### 9. Shady Billing and Poor Customer Care Is Driving Us Away

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

We used to enjoy their great customer support and willingness to support their paying customers, but that apparently all changed when they started making some money and gaining popularity. We were recently screwed over by their billing dep not giving us time to resolve a payment issue, and I believe it was done purposefully to get us off a legacy plan that no longer suited them.
Our bill to run remote support has now doubled and we are looking into other option. I would not recommend their services to anyone for any reason.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Poor customer care team and shady billing practices that screwed us out of our legacy plan and doubled our monthly bill

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to install an agent to our in hours workstations and me to remotely manage and support the users on the machines.

  ### 10. Splashtop’s Clean Interface is great

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay D. | SysAdmin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?**

The interface of the Splashtop app is well thought out and simple to navigate. A big plus is anything in the local clipboard is automatically available for pasting into the remote device

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?**

Switching between screens when the remote device has multiple screen is easier on other remote software where moving the mouse automatically changes the screen

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to work remotely on a client's device is a massive cost savings, even if a client device is in the same city. I have several clients who are at least a 3 hour plane flight away as well as some based overseas.
