**What do you like best about Spike?**

I use Spike for managing my emails in a chat-like interface, which makes communication faster and less formal. I really like how it transforms email into a clean, chat-like experience—it just feels natural to use. The conversation view is the biggest win, making it easy to follow and reply quickly. I appreciate the real-time messaging feel, where emails almost behave like instant messages, reducing the usual back-and-forth delay. Another feature I find really useful is the unified workspace, having emails, notes, and tasks in one place cuts down context switching. I also like the simplicity and speed that stand out, removing friction from email communication. Voice notes and quick replies are also great for when I don’t want to type long emails. With the conversation view, I get a productivity boost since everything flows like a simple chat, and I can instantly understand context and reply faster without digging through the thread. Voice notes are handy when typing feels slow, allowing me to respond quickly, and quick replies save time for short responses or acknowledgments. Overall, Spike makes communication more natural and efficient, especially for quick back-and-forth discussions.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

A few things could definitely be improved: Search can feel limited at times. When I need to find older emails or specific details, the search isn’t always as fast or precise as I’d like. In a chat-style system, strong search becomes even more important. Over-simplification of emails. The chat view is great most of the time, but occasionally I miss the traditional email structure—especially for formal or detailed threads where formatting and context matter. Notification control. Notifications can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming or not granular enough. Better control over what triggers alerts would help reduce distractions. Learning curve for new users. If someone is used to traditional email clients, the chat-style interface can feel unfamiliar at first. It takes a bit of time to adjust. Feature depth in some areas. While the all-in-one workspace is convenient, notes or task features aren’t as powerful as dedicated apps. So for more advanced use cases, I might still switch tools.

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I use Spike for my emails, and I absolutely love some of its features. The searching feature is really fast and efficient, no matter how old the email is, Spike finds it quickly. I haven't seen this kind of feature in any other email app like Gmail. I also like the notes feature and the summarization. The spikes feature is great because it lets me see all my emails in one go from different email accounts. It's really handy and makes managing emails easier, just like using a chatting app. The initial setup was very easy, and Spike is very user-friendly, taking very little time to set up.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Sometimes some emails are not viewed normally in Spike because the senders use some newsletter providers that aren't supported. These emails can be easily viewed in Gmail, so if Spike could support those, it would be very helpful.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spike to make email handy like a chat app, it's fast and efficient for searching old emails, and saves time by showing all account emails in one go.

I use Spike mainly for team collaboration and communication. It helps us centralize everything - chats, emails, tasks, and calls. Super handy for keeping everyone on the same page. Spike solves a bunch of problems for me! It reduces email clutter by bringing everything into one app. No more switching between tabs for chats, emails, or tasks. Plus, the task management feature keeps projects organized. Overall, it streamlines communication and boosts productivity. Honestly, I love how it combines everything in one place. Like, you can chat with team members, manage tasks, and even handle emails without leaving the app. The interface is super clean and intuitive too. Makes collaboration feel seamless. The integrations are amazing! Spike plays nice with tools like Google Calendar, Trello, and GitHub. So, everything's connected. And the search function is super handy – finding old convos or files is a breeze. Works well for both small teams and bigger orgs, I'd say! The integrations are a game-changer. Like, connecting Spike to Google Calendar means I never miss a meeting – it syncs tasks and reminders straight into the app. And with Trello or GitHub integrations, all project updates flow into Spike, so I'm always in the loop. The search function? It's clutch. Finding old messages, files, or tasks is super quick – saves me tons of time digging through chats. These features make Spike feel like a productivity Swiss Army knife. Spike integrates pretty smoothly with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.), Trello, GitHub, and Slack. It flows without hiccups. We switched from Slack. Spike just seemed like a more all-in-one tool – didn't wanna juggle multiple apps for chats, emails, and tasks. Plus, the email integration in Spike won us over. Less switching, more focus. Setup was literally a few clicks. We imported stuff from Slack, connected integrations, and we were good to go. The onboarding guided us through everything, so even the less tech-savvy folks on the team got onboard quickly.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Honestly, sometimes the mobile app feels a bit laggy compared to the desktop version. And, wish there were more customization options for notifications – can get a bit noisy if you're in lots of groups.

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike has genuinely transformed how I handle email by presenting conversations as clean, modern chat bubbles instead of endless threaded monstrosities seen in Gmail or Outlook, which significantly saves me mental overhead. The chat-style interface is intuitive, reducing inbox anxiety and provides an experience akin to texting or Slack, while external recipients continue to receive normal emails. I appreciate the unified inbox that combines personal and work accounts, along with the powerful search feature. Spike's AI has been legitimately useful with quick thread summaries, reply suggestions, and helps in brainstorming emails, which feels natural and time-saving. Additionally, the extras like built-in tasks, notes, voice messages, and team channels make Spike a mini productivity hub, eliminating the need for separate apps. The thing I like most is its ability to remove clutter from traditional emails, with clean bubbles that make back-and-forth communication feel natural and fast. Conversations being grouped by people rather than by subject line makes referencing past context easy, which is excellent for recurring collaborators, enhancing the personal and continuous feel of communication.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I don't like the lack of true offline mode and limited offline access in Spike. It's probably the biggest issue for me. When my internet drops, I can't read older messages reliably, compose drafts that save properly, or view much beyond what's cached. It's especially annoying during commutes or in areas with poor signal. Sometimes, there are syncing and reliability hiccups, with messages not showing up right away or delays in marking them as read/sent across devices. Also, the free/paid plan restrictions feel restrictive, especially for heavier use. The free tier caps things like AI queries, message history, file uploads/storage, and team features, which pushes you toward the paid plans quicker than competitors.

I love how Spike transforms my inbox into a conversational chat. Its People Mode is a standout feature, converting traditional email threads into chat-style bubbles, removing clunky headers and signatures, making long conversations much easier to follow. Spike acts as a single pane of glass, reducing app-switching and serving as a communication layer for other specialized tools. The architecture allows internal collaboration in the same place as client communications so no context is lost. The initial setup is famously straightforward since Spike works directly on top of your existing email account, and you don't need to create a new account or invite everyone before using it.

Sometimes the chat UI is too good at stripping away data. It can hide important formal signatures or legal disclaimers that you actually need to see. If you're dealing with lawyers or high-stakes contracts, the 'People Mode' can feel a bit too casual.

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I have been using the Spike app and software for several years, and I find it both useful and easy to navigate. One feature I particularly appreciate is how it organizes all emails from a specific address into a dedicated folder, making it much simpler to delete them all at once instead of scrolling through to find each one individually. This function saves me a significant amount of time, especially when dealing with unwanted advertising messages. The Spike app also offers a pleasant and intuitive interface, and it allows you to add all your email accounts in one place, which really streamlines things. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a similar tool—it's truly one of the best email managers available.

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike ability to make email feel like a straightforward chat conversation appeals to me.
The user interface is simple, quick and intuitive. Dedicated areas for team discussions, projects and clients.
It's very convinient to have a single inbox for all e-mails, the chat style inbox speeds up communication.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Email syncing occasionally takes a little longer than with traditional clients.
Search could be more effective and notifications from mobile apps can occasionally be delayed.
I sometimes have trouble with attachments with spike, particularly when i update my account settings or add pictures to email signatures.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By converting lengthy email threads into chat style conversions, spike helps me handle emails more quickly.
It increases my productivity and cuts down on the amount of time i spend reading emails.
My workflow is straightforward and effective because i can handle tasks, notes and communication all in one app.
