"Easy-to-Learn UI with Helpful Tooltips That Boost ROI"

What do you like best about SOLIDWORKS?

One of the most helpful aspects of SOLIDWORKS is it UI, or User Interface. It is easy to learn and the tooltips that are available will help anyone learn the commands quickly and efficiently. This is a big plus when it comes to the ROI, or Return On Investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SOLIDWORKS?

One of the downsides of working with SOLIDWORKS and perforated panels is performance. SOLIDWORKS does not do a great job with sketching many, 2500+ holes. Even patterns of smaller groupings of holes is not handled well. It recognizes every sketch entity in a pattern, instead of patterning the cut itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SOLIDWORKS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had always had to do physical testing up until we bought SOLIDWORKS. Now we utilize FEA and Motion to take us a long way into the prototype schedule. By doing many iterations of products, we have come to trust the outputs of the program. This has saved us multiple thousands of dollars by not having to create physical prototypes for testing.
