**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

What I like best about Snowflake is how easy it makes working with large amounts of data without having to manage infrastructure. The separation of storage and compute allows teams to scale resources independently, which improves performance and cost efficiency. I also appreciate its user-friendly interface, fast query performance, secure data sharing capabilities, and strong integration with modern data tools. Overall, Snowflake helps organizations access, analyze, and share data more efficiently, enabling faster and better business decisions.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

What I dislike most about Snowflake is that costs can sometimes be difficult to predict, especially when compute resources are scaled up or used inefficiently. While the platform offers strong performance and flexibility, organizations need to monitor usage carefully to avoid unexpected expenses. New users may also face a learning curve when managing warehouses, permissions, and optimization settings. Overall, the benefits are significant, but cost management requires ongoing attention and planning.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I like most about Snowflake is that it helps solve challenges related to managing and analyzing large volumes of data. By providing a scalable and centralized platform, it reduces infrastructure complexity, improves query performance, and enables faster access to insights. This benefits me by making data analysis more efficient, supporting better decision-making, and allowing teams to collaborate more effectively across the organization.

  ### 2. Easy, Efficient Data Extraction with Clear Database Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pankaj K. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

Snowflake lets me extract data easily and efficiently, and its clear UI/UX makes it simple to navigate while understanding the structure of databases and tables. It also integrates smoothly with the other tools we use, which helps streamline workflows and boosts overall productivity. In my experience, performance remains strong even with large datasets, and being able to scale resources up or down as needed adds solid value for the pricing. Onboarding is straightforward, with helpful documentation and support available whenever I need it. On top of that, Snowflake’s AI and intelligent features improve data analysis and make it easier to surface meaningful insights quickly.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

At times, Snowflake’s UI/UX feels a bit unintuitive when I’m working with complex queries, particularly if I’m leaning on the built-in AI features. The AI can occasionally produce incorrect code or fail to identify the right tables, which hurts productivity and adds extra rework. Integrations are generally solid, but when something breaks between tools, troubleshooting can be time-consuming.

Overall performance is usually good, yet inefficient AI-generated queries can still slow things down. From a pricing perspective, those inefficiencies may translate into higher compute costs, which then impacts overall ROI. On top of that, onboarding into more advanced features—especially the AI capabilities—can be challenging, and the available support or documentation doesn’t always fully cover these edge cases.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake helps address key business challenges by making it easier to manage and analyze large volumes of data efficiently. Its intuitive UI/UX simplifies exploring datasets and understanding database structures, which boosts productivity in everyday work. The platform’s strong integrations with other tools also streamline data pipelines and support smooth collaboration across teams.

From a performance standpoint, Snowflake runs large-scale queries quickly and can scale resources on demand, delivering consistent results as data needs grow. This scalability can also improve pricing and ROI, since you’re able to optimize costs based on actual usage. In addition, the onboarding experience and available support make it relatively straightforward to get started and gradually adopt more advanced features. Lastly, its AI and intelligence capabilities help with query generation and data analysis, accelerating insights while reducing manual effort.

  ### 3. Fully Managed Snowflake That Scales Smoothly with Great Support

**Reviewed by:** Abhay K. | Senior Integration Specialist, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

The best thing I like about Snowflake is its fully managed Software-as-a-Service model, which reduces development and maintenance efforts tremendously. Another feature I really value is the architectural separation of compute and storage, which allows independent scaling of resources and helps optimize operational costs based on real-time workload consumption. Snowflake also enables frictionless, secure data sharing across different business units and external organizations, without requiring physical data replication or complex ETL pipelines. We have integrated Snowflake with API integration implementational dn data moved swiftly without any delay/concurrency. The AI suggestions while building procedure it so matured that it saves lots of development time. Technical support team is very efficient and available on requests. The UI is very smooth

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

The standard edition restricts users to single cluster warehouse with default concurrency level of 8. This limitation forced us to upgrade to enterprise edition with multi-cluster support with big cut on the project budget.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake features like native data sharing make it much easier to centralize data and keep it accessible across teams. Not having to manually manage indexes, partitions, or vacuuming frees up a lot of development time, so I can focus on actual data integration instead. Overall performance of data processing is very fast which saves a lot of time to sync data in Snowflake.

  ### 4. Flexible, High-Performance Storage with Easy Compute Management and Smooth Connectivity

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

Snowflake storage lets teams work independently with flexible workloads and strong performance, without needing process management. The platforms tools and database features make implementation and day to day management straightforward and the overall performance has been excellent for us. Compute is easy to manage and makes collaboration very reliable across ETL, ML and data queries. Connecting to the platforn is also smooth and works well.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

Snowflake requires careful management of compute costs. At the same time, it provides some optimized ETL functionality within Snowflake itself and helps keep the information stored in the database seccure.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake helps me tackle infrastructure and server challenges by bringing data warehousing, analytics and data collaboration together in one place. It supports external data sharing and real time processing and it can also be used to work with customer support data. It makes scaling easier as data grows, gives clearer visibility into the underlying infrastructure and supports practical use cases such as fraud detection.

  ### 5. Snowflake’s Cortex AI Makes an Already Powerful Data Platform Even Better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJHARUDDIN . | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

Snowflake is the most powerful data tool right now . It's not limited to data warehouse now . With the current ai capabilities specially cortex like cortex analyst ,cortex agents , ai sql functions this is now an end to end platform for all data things . Specially the cortex code is life changing for etl pipelines, debugging etc.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

I think they are shipping a lot of ai features which are great but still need fine tuning and improvements on that . Sometimes they hallucinate and gets a little frustrating . Also I think cortex analyst was pretty expensive so cost sometimes is a downside .

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake helps us in a lot of work and really like all the features like time travel ,snowflake streams , stages to load data , different warehouse to handle the workloads etc. Also it allows for seamless integration with external systems like braze , dbt projects etc.

  ### 6. Easy Data Movement, Smooth Scaling, and Solid Performance in Snowflake

Snowflake makes data movement easy, and scaling compute for heavier workloads is straightforward without requiring much manual tuning. It also helps me keep data secure and I don’t have to worry about provisoning servers or APIs. The Cloud storage setup in Snowflake feels well desgined and I’ve consistently seen solid performace. I also like the integration features and it continues to work well even when the whole team is using it at the same time. The setup process process has been smooth and practical and having the option with both SQL and Python has been great.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

Small files can hurt performance, but otherwise data pipelines can faster and cut overalltime. The compute is most useful when it stays simple, efficient, easy to mange and straightforward to operate.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake centralised our data. Reducea issues and improved consistency across our reporting and analytics. It has also streamlined workflows and prevented many of the problems we user to run into when managing reports, especially when working to tight timelines. The capabilities have been useful and it performa extremely well when handling window functions and workloa isolation. It reduces adat problema through integrations and helped us deliver excellent results.

  ### 7. Reliable, Low-Maintenance Platform for Scalable BI Data Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya K. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

Snowflake has been a reliable platform in my day to day data workflows. In my setup, I use dbt to run scheduled transformations and Snowflake handles these workloads efficiently. Data sharing is another area where Snowflake performs well. A notable advantage is the low maintenance requirement which reduces operational effort and allows more focus on analytics and modeling. Overall, Snowflake provides a stable, scalable and efficient environment for modern data operations, particularly in BI-driven use cases.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

With Snowflake, cost visibility can feel a bit unclear at first and it’s easy to run up higher usage if queries aren’t monitored closely that said the interface is well structured and intuitive which makes it straightforward to find, organize and manage resources efficiently.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snowflake has effectively consolidated multiple reporting systems into a single centralized data warehouse, which reduces data duplication and improves overall consistency in reporting. This centralization has also helped minimize errors, since all teams are working from the same source of truth. On top of that Snowflake’s user interface makes it easier to visualize, access and manage data workflows. Overall, it streamlines our data architecture, reduces operational fragmentation, and improves the accuracy and efficiency of our reporting processes.

  ### 8. Stable, Scalable Snowflake for Reporting on Large Datasets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sridhar B. | US Tax Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

I’m in Snowflake almost everyday for reporting work. Its been stable for me and doesn’t freeze, even when I’m working with large datasets. Writing queries feels straightforward and I rarely need much support to get things done. We also use it with looker and google sheeta, depending on who needs the data and how they prefer to access it. The option to scale compute up during heavier workloads and then scale it back down afterwards is helpful. I also appreciate not having to worry about infrastructure or ongoing maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

Snowflake makes it very easy to manage dynamic schema updates, although I’ve also run into some slow performance at times. It streamlines data goverance and removea the storage constraints we used to deal with in traditional on prem databases.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes all of our reporting data, so I no longer have to chase different teams for files. That alone cuts down on a lot of back and forth during month end close and makes the whole process feel much smoother.

  ### 9. Smooth Reporting Pipelines with Looker/DBT and Effortless Scaling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry S. | Software engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

I use Snowflake mainly for reporting pipelines. It integrates smoothly with tools like looker and DBT, and setting up transformations is fairly straightforward. I often rely on cloning tables without duplicating data when I’m testing changes. I also appreciate that storage can scale up without much advance planning and managing queries generally feels simple and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

You can make it work, but it doesn’t feel very natural. The query history is helpful, yet when I need deeper troubleshooting, it still feels limited snowflake. That said, i do appreciate how user friendly it is especially for people who might not have technical background.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to run into reporting delays because we were on shared systems. Now analytics runs separately, so our dashboards stay consistent even when the load is heavy. This keeps our reporting timelines predictable and it’s also been great at storing processing and retrieving large amounts of data.

  ### 10. Snowflake Makes High-Volume Supply Chain Data Loads Smooth and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapil K. | SAP MM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Snowflake?**

In a supply chain setup, I work with Snowflake every day to manage movement and inventory tracking data. It handles high volume workloads with very small setup requires on my end and I stage files in AWS S3, process everything inside Snowflake SnowFlake and then send the results to Power BI. Our data loads run on a schedule and I rarely run into failures unless something upstream breaks.

**What do you dislike about Snowflake?**

It really depnds on how people write queries badly written queries can slow things down and drive up costs. What I like is that I don’t have to worry about indexes or tuning the way I did with older systems. And even when multiple teams are running queries at the same time, performance doesn’t degrade much.

**What problems is Snowflake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has taken away much of struggle of handling large SAP MM datasets during peak operations. Stock reconciliation and movement tracking are now faster and smoother, which is a real help during audits and planning cycles. Reporting also runs separately now, so business users can get their numbers sonner without slowing now, so business users can get their numbers sooner without slowing down or impacting daily transactions.
