## Snagajob Reviews
 ### 1. Snag a job

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa K. | Authorization & Appointments setter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

I like that it gives you access to all the jobs hiring in your area and you can customize the search to your preferences.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

I don't like that the app sometimes crashess and lags

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's beneficial because it puts you directly with the hiring company not threw 3rd party like other job apps.

 ### 2. Poor Practices and Fake Coupon

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc E. | Personnel Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

I cannot say anything positive here as the service was that poor.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

We received an email on June 30 offering 50% off a posting. When it didn't work, I contacted their support to see if I was doing something wrong. First, the lady said that the code had expired, and when I pointed out that the email said it expired on July 15th it became that I had already used the code, which I had not done. She kept pushing that and repeating that the code won't work after we make a purchess. We had not made one, and the email does not say anything about the code being for new members. Then she says the code works, but we have already made an ad and seemed to imply that because I had looked at the payment screen before deciding to make a purchase that the code wouldn't work now.

Then she says the code works and is active and when I try it on the chat with her and tell her it still doesn't, she says that is what their end is showing as well. And now she says she has to ask someone and get back to me, which turns into they will give me a call but she can't say whom will call or when because it will be out of her hands.

Two days later I hear back from them and the email says that the code doesn't work because it expired June 30 at midnight. The email with the code came in durring the day on June 30, hours AFTER the code had expired. The email offered another code for us to use and this one only grants 25% off the price.

I am not sure how illegal this is, but it was a poor showing on their part and so we wont be using them. Hopefully this helps someone else considering their product.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

'None' would be my response to both of these questions. We were hoping to use them for job advertising, but trust and customer service are important when working with a company, and we didn't feel like it was a good match.

 ### 3. Solution Needs improvement

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

having the ability to automate onboarding can save time

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

numerous issues with snag. when applicants aren't correctly onboarded, there's no alert which can slow down payroll process. overall process is slow and cumbersome

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

onboarding and applicant tracking

 ### 4. Heavily slanted away from Small Business

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

I thought the site was great, user friendly and easy to post. I used 'support' when I decided to turn off my account. They were quick and friendly, and have (supposedly) refunded my money.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

When my ad was posted, I noticed that there were companies with banners 'Urgently Hiring' and 'Featured'. When asking about these enhancements, I found out they weren't available to small businesses. You must have an account with multiple locations (like a franchise). Great for the large businesses, but a waste of time for small business.

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

My small business isn't using Snagajob and I wouldn't recommend it to small business at this time. If they change their access to features which enhance a job ad to include small businesses, I would without hesitation give them two thumbs up.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not solving any problems with them. I asked them if the services I wanted were available and they told me 'No', those services are only available to large companies. I asked for a refund and they support worker agreed.

 ### 5. Over $600 spent and only 3 candidates to show for it

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominic A. | Digital Recruiting and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

There were no real upsides to using snagajob. Maybe it works very particular markets, but if you need candidates for your jobs, this isn't the right job platform.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

I tried out Snagajob; my company uses 5-6 other different job boards so we thought we'd give it a try. We bought about $600 in job ads and we only got 3 candidates for all of them. The jobs in the markets we posted all had candidates on other platforms so it isn't a problem of posting in the wrong markets or using bad job descriptions. SimplyHired which is for free gives us about 10-20 candidates daily; Jobcase for $600/month gets us 9-14 candidates a day. Also beware of their auto-renew feature. Because of it you can never get your full money's worth out of a job if you need to close it. Slots would be so much better. At $89/job Snag is way overpriced compared to Zip's $40/slot and jobcase's $40/slot

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

You'll really have to experiment to see which jobs perform best but then you run into the issue of paying per job post.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We thought Snagajob would be good job board to get more candidates for our clients.

 ### 6. Referrals from Snag a Job

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deonna Clemons B. | Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

I like the information that Snag a Job captures from applicants and potential candidates for employment, such as employment history and experience

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

I can't think of any at this time. Snag a Job is consistent with referring applicants

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

Continue as you will get real hits on your recruiting software

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are that we get a least 3-5 applicants a week from Snag a Job

 ### 7. Hiring Made Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alene Y. | Corporate Sales Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

I like how it is a platform used by thousands of companies, so is established, well known and works. The overall process to post a job and track applicants is easier than ever and takes the hassle out of most of our paperwork/tracking. It is also great as we have a large pool of hourly employees within our company and have found most (if not all) through this site.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

There sometimes are some glitches in system and the number of advertisements listed are cumbersome

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

Easiest platform to use whether a user or administrator. Great way to track applicants and very modern and efficient.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking to fill a number of positions at one time and they have a large pool of hourly type applicants readily available. I've realized that the process is made much simpler for our hiring managers/staff and that leaves us room elswhere

 ### 8. Lack of Customer Service and ROI

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

There really isn't much I would state I like except the concept of tool if it had provided better results.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

1. Had 5 sales reps/account manage in less than 1.5 years.
2. Snagajob changed contract terms with last renewal and did not verbally inform us before providing the new sales order. These terms are unethical and of our vendors, they are the only company that has "snuck in" auto-renewal. If their service was top notch and provided results, they would not need to enforce an auto-renewal.

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

Stay away

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tried to hire part-time stockers, the service did not provide ROI

 ### 9. Overall Snagajob has been fairly helpful in helping me look for a decent job.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

It’s fairly easy to use and they ask you multiple questions in order to get to know you and what you are looking for in a job and also what you’re qualified for.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

I’ve been using it for 3-4 years now, off and on and they sometimes offer “jobs” that are just ads for stuff or the “work from home” scams. I wish they would filter things like that so they wouldn’t even show up on the page. Also, they send out a lot of emails, some good but some are just spam. Either way, it’s way too many. If I’m actively looking for a job then I’ll be on the website looking, I don’t need 5 emails a day, every day showing job openings that I don’t even qualify for.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have any business problems that have been solved by Snagajob. The benefits are that it could possibly help me find a good paying, reliable job.

 ### 10. Snagajob is what you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | Computer Technician & YouTube Content Creator, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Snagajob?**

easy to sort jobs by location, title, type, and more. Easy to use and easy to apply. It is a must when looking for a job. There are other platforms out there but snagajob is just great. I prefer it over many of the other options.

**What do you dislike about Snagajob?**

I think it could have more features. And more freelance jobs. A larger freelance section would just be amazing to a lot of people. The job market is nolong what it used to be. Many work for themselves rather than a large company. Or they are looking to start their own business.

**Recommendations to others considering Snagajob:**

It is a great platform for any use. Whether you are looking for work or looking to hire someone. it is a great resource to get what you need to get the job done. And it is easy to navigate and use.

**What problems is Snagajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding work and side jobs is my main use of the platform. I have used it for a long time and have always found it very useful
