Its also great for photo storage. **What do you dislike about SmugMug?** It never remembers my log in details even though I also tick for it to! **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** Photo storage as a backup is great. Its a safety net to what I also already have in place. ### 2. Should be a simple setting but like a lot of software companies nowadays, they make it difficult to see anything but upgrading your plan. When I went to click the only intuitive option, close my account, they literally deleted all my data and all of my logins etc despite still having months left on my subscription. Great budget option for your photo hosting but cancelling your account seems pretty dirty and consumers like me are tired of being treated like this. **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** None, it's just a hosting site ### 3. You can also hide galleries from public view. **What do you dislike about SmugMug?** The search function is faulty, you can not search by name. Tags applied in SmugMug do not get added to metadata so you loose them when you download the photos. You can not download an entire folder, you have to download albums individually. **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SmugMug to upload our photos (as a school) to so that parents and students can download and view photos. ### 4. It is mainly a photo-sharing website, which is excellent, however, this leaves a lot to be desired in terms of functionality. **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** SmugMug allows us to share campus-wide photography in one place while allowing for individual links to be shared to specific galleries within the site, while not blocking off the entire library. ### 9. The addition of CSS and HTML is nice to customize the site but javascript is needed for certain design choices. **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** I dont have to worry about website storage or worry that I cant upload my clients galleries. ### 10. I love that I can design the front page. It is simple to use and holds a lot storage wise. I have been using it for many years now. **What do you dislike about SmugMug?** I don't like the cost. It seems to continually go up. I may have to drop some important features just to afford it. Also, the preset folders are awsome but have limits, so my preset folder isn't entirely saved as a preset. **What problems is SmugMug solving and how is that benefiting you?** A place all clients can see and download their images.
