I have installed the Slimstats plugin on most of my Wordpress websites. I think it's a great alternative to something such as google analytics as it requires much less work to set up plus I think privacy is an essential issue with analytics software and feel more comfortable using something like the Slimstats plugin. The opening page, "realtime stats" gives an initially unfavorable impression of the plugin as the data is not particularly useful. The site analysis and traffic sources pages are where the most valuable data can be found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
