I like that with Slack Connector for Jira, all my coworkers and managers are in one place, making it easy to get in touch with anyone I need to at a moment's notice. I can easily find someone using the left-hand column or the search bar to send direct messages when needed. I also appreciate being able to message someone privately, especially if it's a manager, rather than in a chat that everyone can see. I find it frustrating that if you're on another page, it's not clear where Slack notifies you when there's a comment or someone responds. I end up having to jump back and forth between screens to check Slack every now and then to see if anybody commented or left any messages. I'd like a better experience regarding notifications.
