## Skype Reviews
  ### 1. One of best messaging tools used in IT industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag K. | Freelance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Skype?**

One thing I like about Skype is how it continues to improve collaboration with features like better call stability, screen sharing, and easy file sharing during meetings. The integration with Microsoft services also makes it convenient to connect with colleagues and manage communication in one place.

**What do you dislike about Skype?**

Skype could improve its performance and responsiveness, as the app can sometimes feel slow. A more streamlined interface and better notification controls would also enhance the overall user experience.

**What problems is Skype solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Skype for the last 4 years for messaging and calling purposes and skype helps me a lot in my business. Every day we have a standup call which we did on skype.

  ### 2. Skype Simplified Global Communication for Our Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarun K. | IT Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Skype?**

The thing that I liked the most about Skype was the fact that it easily integrated into our everyday communication pattern. We applied it often in our organization as a form of internal coordination and client meetings and within no time, it was a fundamental part of our connectedness. It was extremely efficient as it did not require me to switch between various tools, which was the case with chat, voice and video. Its international calling service was particularly helpful, since it was reliable and it was affordable, compared to the high cost of making calls over landlines or through mobile phones directly. That in itself helped us immensely in the way we handled communication abroad.

It was also easy to get started with Skype. No technical or IT infrastructure or any setup was necessary, as we simply had to download, log-in, and we were all set. It was easily usable even by those of the team who were not tech-savvy. No formal onboarding was needed and the interface was intuitive enough such that any person could learn to use it fast. The Outlook integration also contributed to keeping our life organised and scheduling meetings and contacts which saved us much time and made Skype look like a continuation of our working process.

We hardly needed help, but the few occasions when we contacted the support team, the answers were prompt and useful. The advice was also straightforward and addressed our problems without the delays of back-and-forth. This also made us believe that in case of any inconvenience, we had someone to turn to.

**What do you dislike about Skype?**

No dislikes towards Skype. It ensured that we had an unlimited availability of what we needed, good voice and video calls, messaging and an uninterrupted connection with our workflow.

**What problems is Skype solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Skype really helped us tackle one of our biggest early challenges: staying connected with clients and team members in different places without facing the high costs and complexities that usually come with it. Before Skype, connecting with people across the globe meant paying high phone bills or sending long, drawn-out emails that were a real hassle.Through Skype, we could freely have a real-time chat and even share screens and work together in real time regardless of the position of the people. It replaced our daily check in/out tool, for client presentations and at times even in making quick decisions that would otherwise have been time consuming. This has saved us hours each week because we could get on a call and clarify something and move on. It also enabled us to have a better relationship with the clients since we were able to interact in the face without having to travel. In brief, Skype accelerated, personalized and made our communication far more economical.

  ### 3. Skype makes my online meetings easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rubens V. | systems analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Skype?**

I appreciate how easy it is to make video and audio calls with my colleagues and friends. In terms of accessibility, Skype's interface is intuitive and works well even with slower internet connections, which is essential in places with limited infrastructure. The instant messaging feature also makes it easy to quickly exchange information during calls.

**What do you dislike about Skype?**

The interface could be more modern and intuitive in some features. The program can be heavy and slow on older computers. In more demanding corporate environments, more advanced collaboration features are needed.

**What problems is Skype solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Skype addresses the challenge of long-distance communication by allowing me to make audio and video calls with colleagues, friends, and family. This has been especially helpful for work meetings, participating in online classes, and staying connected with people who are far away.

  ### 4. Great to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Able to contact co-workers in different locations to ask questions. We are able to communicate important information without everyone in the office hearing us. It helps us get our answers quick so we can address the problem. you can use on the go.

**What do you dislike about Skype?**

The only thing I really don't like is that you have to log out of your Hotmail account to use the business email. You can't be in one and the other email at the same time! But otherwise, n othing it is great way to stay in touch

**What problems is Skype solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for quick responding instead of using phone especially if we are not able to talk at the moment if we are with a client but we can type
