SimScale’s calculations are exceptionally fast, which really makes it stand out. Its LBM-based simulations run at lightning speed and feel far quicker than other software I’ve used. This strong performance seems to come from its use of cloud systems along with modern, advanced CFD techniques.

While SimScale offers impressive speed, it’s worth noting that it may not include every feature you might expect. For instance, the software currently lacks a dedicated FSI solver, which can be a limitation for certain types of simulations. In addition, the post-processing section still has room to improve.
