What do you like best about SIMS?

It is a third party system with a lot of features, you can basically do all your school needs from data recording, accounts management, registration, timetabling, report cards creation, integration on parents evening app, plus if you get the full feature you can go paperless by integrating the SIMS parent application. Also, they are on the process of becoming cloudbased so it would be a convenient application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SIMS?

It has some complicated features, it cannot do bulk updating of records in case you have a separate system for registration. When uploading assessment through routines, you need to exit every each aspect making uploading a pain in the head. In GCC countries, where Arabic is the main language, you would need to either create a separate system for the subject or just create a pre-structured parameters since the system cannot read Arabic characters. Recommendations to others considering SIMS:

It is a very convenient application to consider in building your data system. Also, one of the key factors is to use all features there are and to send your data managers to the simultaneous trainings conducted yearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data system management and integrated system for student's assessment are available. When used to its full capacity, SIMS, is a very useful tool to safeguard your data and to produce reports directly to one data bank creating a consistent data analysis and recordings.
