Features and functionality of the segment builder as well as the ESP and audience syncing with other marketing platforms. Also, their willingness to build whatever we need is crucial! We've used them for hyper-segmentation to get about as close to personalized marketing as we can. Their response time to our questions (troubleshooting or otherwise) is extremely fast. Some elements of the platform feel like they were designed for engineers instead of marketers. Terminology comes to mind. Also, the rules are a little clunky when a non-engineer is trying to build segments. However, they are always quick to respond to my questions about how to build segments. The only other issue I have is uploading CSVs to the platform and building segments with them. I typically need help when it comes to those types of tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Simon AI: Make sure your existing data warehouse is ready. Think through your event triggers and how you'd migrate them to Simon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you? We're using Simon as our CRM, ESP, and full-funnel marketing tool. Our ability to sync with Google and Facebook in real time instead of using static audiences has been a real bonus. Our ability to send dynamic content in email is extremely beneficial. Simon has added an intelligent data layer to our existing data and we've used that for better user flows and journeys. When we switched off of our previous ESP onto Simon, I was a bit skeptical. However, the value add, not just across email but across Google and Facebook has allowed us to pinpoint different types of users in our marketing funnel and gotten us to the next level of a marketing mix.
