What do you like best about Simcenter Simsolid?

What I like most about Altair SimSolid is how quickly I can run structural analyses without spending a lot of time preparing the geometry or building a traditional mesh. It’s especially helpful when I’m working with CAD assemblies and exploring different design options, because I can get results fast and use them to support my design decisions. What do you dislike about Simcenter Simsolid?

One downside is that the simplified workflow can sometimes feel limiting when I want more detailed control over the simulation setup. Some of the more advanced options also take time to understand, especially compared with the straightforward process for basic structural analysis. Altair SimSolid helps me evaluate structural performance throughout the design process without spending too much time preparing models for simulation. I can quickly check stresses, displacements, and potential weak points in a design, and then compare different alternatives. This cuts down on design iterations, helps me catch issues earlier, and supports better engineering decisions before I move on to manufacturing or physical testing.
