What I like most about Altair Radioss is its robustness and accuracy for crash and impact simulations. As a crash simulation engineer, I use explicit finite element analysis on a daily basis, and Radioss provides reliable results for highly nonlinear events involving complex contact interactions, material behavior, and large deformations. One aspect that could be improved in Altair Radioss is the learning curve for new users. Due to the large number of cards, parameters, and solver options available, it can take significant time and experience to fully understand and use the software efficiently. In addition, debugging model setup issues can sometimes be challenging, especially for complex crash models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
