Creative Concept with Great UX for Finding Colleagues **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026 **What do you like best about Sift?** good ux, useful when trying to find a colleague, the concept is creative, it allows you to see your company from a broader perspective **What do you dislike about Sift?** the constant refreshing, the filters sometimes do not work great - e.g. i will be trying to find someone in the London office with a particular title, I will add in these filters and they won't come up, I don't like how it doesn't let you edit your professional summary after you've submitted. **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** A significant portion of my role is connecting with colleagues across the firm on different initiatives. As the firm grows, it is hard to stay looped in - but Sift helps me to see the evolving developments of the company, first hand and stay in the 'loop' in a sense. It is also a good way to bring the human side of work to life ### 2. Sift solves the gap of knowing what's happening in the company, making it easy to figure out what various ERG groups are doing and if I should be a part of them. I love the UX/UI; it's simple, clean, and easy. Overall, it's just a great product. The initial setup of Sift was very easy. **What do you dislike about Sift?** nothing **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Sift to find out what's happening in my company, access everyone's profiles, and understand people's backgrounds better, closing the gap in internal knowledge. That said, it would be nice to be able to keep an archive of former employees. **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s a great starting point for finding the right point of contact, such as the IT manager. ### 4. I cannot use birthdays from API due to HR/legal policies. The workaround works, but the file (of course) does not update as users are added, and I have to keep reuploading new files as we have new employees. I would love a more seamless and less hands-on solution to this!!! **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** Birthdays sorted by date! That just went live for me today. There is no way to know everyone or know what department someone works in. Even if you know just a first name or part of a first name due to spelling concerns, it brings everyone up with a photo (if they have one) and its easy to find who you are looking for. **What do you dislike about Sift?** Sometimes the website needs to be refreshed for it to work properly but other than that, it works pretty well. **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** Looking for people within the organization or seeing how they line up in our org chart, see what team they are on, who they report to etc. ### 6. While using AI, there should be some control mechanisms from the user.
