What do you like best about Showpad?

I like the ability to share internally via secure links that require log-ins, as well as via external links so customers don't need to have Showpad accounts to access the files. It's also great to be able to choose to let them either view only or download the content. I also like that is it accessible via internal or external devices and on most any device (tablet, phone, computer...). It is incredibly easy to access and use. What do you dislike about Showpad?

I wish that, when sharing only pages from files -especially pptx or xlsx files, there was an option to either keep the files in their original format (pptx/xlsx) OR convert them to pdfs. Richt now, they automatically convert to pdfs if you choose to only share select pages of a file. Also, the search function leaves a lot to be desired. I would like to see the option to search like Google allows - the more words you type into the search box, the narrower the search becomes. Boolean search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Showpad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Working remotely has really upped the demand for easily-shared content. we are creating new channels and folders for our teams so they can easily share things like content for training and product rollouts. It is quick and easy to upload and share links to files quickly with our team and they appreciate the simplicity of sending the content to the admin and having it out of their hands until the receive the link they need. Additionally, it is easy to add or reconfigure folders and channels to accommodate new materials. Because senior management supports the platform adn used it to roll out our 2019 sales tools, we were able to get the buy-in of the majority of our team members and they now know to log in to Showpad for files they need.
