What do you like best about Shopware?

Strong out-of-the-box capabilities for complex hierarchies, individual pricing lists, fast order forms and role-based access. Flexible app and plugins marketplace to easily extend the platform to suit our needs and scale globally. Good return on investment for mid-large B2C/B2B brands looking to gain extensive customization abilities however care must be taken with plugin costs and hosting options. Clean backend with easy to navigate dashboard. Easy integration with core software such as ERP, CRM and Fulfilment using REST API and wide range of pre-built connectors. What do you dislike about Shopware?

To get our store to a high level of customization it can be expensive to get an experienced developer to do more complex integrations. Sometimes major core updates can break 3rd party plugins or custom integrations. This means they will need to be fully tested in a staging environment. If we have a large catalogue or high levels of customization you will require proper hosting and optimization to ensure speed. Quality of plugins can vary. Some 3rd party extensions may require extra testing. The core is easy to access but when adding premium plugins, hosting, agencies and enterprise features the overall cost can increase quickly. Small businesses should plan their budget carefully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
