They go after root causes, not surface symptoms. When our server was struggling under live game load the answer wasn't to throw hardware at it — Shaligram found a database locking issue in the code and fixed it properly. Same approach with scoreboard detection — they replaced an API-based solution taking 4–5 seconds per capture with on-device OCR running in milliseconds. The product feels completely different because of our business and their technical decisions like that. Beyond the technical work, they also brought in a ton of development discipline, we always know what's being built, what's next, and what's at risk.
