**What do you like best about Serrala?**

The use of uploaded bank statements and automated posting rules has created efficiencies and improved our business processes. I like the fact you can build rules to ensure cash is posting as soon as the bank statement loads.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

Our business has a lot of deduction activity against payment and this has been more complex to find solutions. BPI is very rigid, if a customer changes their remit format our BPI no longer works.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cash posting - Our bank accounts who achieve 75% + auto posting, helps the collection team know who has paid and also allows orders to flow rather than being held up waiting for manual posting of cash. we have some of the more complex customers using BPI and this helps accuracy of posting and speeds up that process.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

What I value most about Serrala is its focus on automation, process standardization, and visibility, which helps teams work more efficiently, reduce risk, and make better-informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

None so far. Every inquiry I’ve made has always been answered.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serrala addresses the challenge of manual cash application and payment matching by automating the processing of bank statements, remittance advices, and customer payments. Through Autobank, it helps identify and automatically match incoming payments to the correct invoices, which reduces manual effort, improves posting accuracy, and increases automation rates.

From my perspective, this has benefited me by speeding up cash application processing, lowering the number of manual exceptions that require investigation, and giving better visibility into payment-matching performance. The ongoing improvement of Autobank rules and automation capabilities has also helped our team achieve higher touchless processing rates, so we can focus on resolving complex cases and driving process improvements instead of spending time on repetitive manual tasks.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I really value how Serrala simplifies complex payments and cash management processes. The automation feature is a big win, reducing the team's manual efforts and minimizing errors. I also appreciate the centralized visibility it provides, which includes EBAM, allowing cash positions, bank accounts, and transactions to be seen all in one place. Additionally, Serrala's seamless integration with our SAP system is very beneficial, as it allows for smoother data flows and less manual work. It's the combination of automation, visibility, ease of use, and integration with SAP that truly makes Serrala stand out for us.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

We have found that EBAM does not work always as expected. It can be quite slow at times, which impacts efficiency when we are trying to manage account related processes. Another challenge is adoption. Not everyone across the company consistently updates information in EBAM. Additionally, some features like generating letters do not always work as intended. For example, we are not able to use the feature to generate letters to close bank accounts, because the system is very slow. Also, when we try to see all our account details or make changes, it is extremely slow, so it makes us take a lot of time in simple tasks.

Serrala streamlines and automates our payment and cash management processes, reducing manual work, errors, and delays. It offers centralized visibility, integrates well with our SAP system, and improves our control and insights for effective decision-making.

  ### 4. Autobank solution for SAP

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

Autobank is still a useful solution for handling incoming bank payments in SAP.
Once the matching rules are configured correctly, it reduces a lot of manual work in the cash application process. It is especially helpful for recurring payment scenarios as payments can be applied and customer or GL accounts can be cleared automatically, the integration with SAP is also a strong point.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

The main area for improvement is configuration and maintenance of the rules.
Some parameter settings are not very intuitive, so users may need support when changes are required. A simpler configuration process, clearer documentation, and  more user friendly interface for managing rules would make the process more easier to maintain independently by only autobank main users.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autobank solution provided by Saralla has increased our incoming and outgoing payments auto match rate.
We have been using the solution for several years, the automatic solution has increased the effectiveness of the team as it reduced
the time spent on cash application.

The automation of otherwise manual tasks, the many options of reviewing performance indicators

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

the language learning capabilities are limited in that the smallest differentiation in a text throws off a rule despite that difference occurring fairly often. for example, in NTP text sometimes a comma (') appears which completely causes the rule to break. despite the rules being amended to account for this everytime it happens, it would be easier if the rule would learn to ignore said character.

manual posting has been reduced through rule building which has given colleagues more time for other tasks/projects but also improved team morale by not having people do repetitive tasks every day

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

What I like best is the regular training offered for the Autobank module. Since the system is very complex in everyday use, this bi-weekly training helps us enormously to clarify questions directly, close knowledge gaps, and avoid errors in daily booking.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

The user interface and the deeper booking structures are partially extremely nested and complex. For daily use and especially for the onboarding of new employees in accounts receivable, the system requires a very long ramp-up time.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system automates a large part of our daily payment reconciliation in accounts receivable. We benefit from a noticeable time saving on routine postings. In unclear special cases, the regular training sessions from Autobank support us excellently.

I can make almost all payments via Serrala

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

When signing payments, I am required to enter my password multiple times because it is not possible to approve all types of payments in a single step. Additionally, when downloading statements, I first need to create reports and then download them separately from the reports section. I find this process inefficient and believe it should be more streamlined and user-friendly.

I can monitor and approve almost all payments through Serrala, which means I do not need to use separate platforms for different banks.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I cannot sing enough praise about Jitendra and Garoid who have provided incredible support. The functionality of the remittance advice allocation systems, OCR, and BPI are really exciting and have the potential to improve cash allocation. It's a touchless allocation stream which reduces the manual workload while increasing the visible audit trail within our system.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

We have struggled slightly with being on a slightly different system to the majority of Serrala's customer base however as mentioned above Jitendra has always stepped in to support, just some implementations have taken slightly longer.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Serrala for bank statement integration and transaction allocation, reducing the manual workload and increasing the visible audit trail. The remittance advice allocation system's OCR and BPI are exciting and improve cash allocation.

I use Serrala for AP automation, and it helps me quickly review and approve invoices while providing complete visibility into approvals with an audit trail. The platform is easy to use, with a great and easy-to-understand UI, making my experience seamless. The team is wonderful to work with, and any issues that arise are addressed quickly by them. Serrala also integrates smoothly with our accounting system, SAP. The initial setup went very smoothly, guided by the implementation team every step of the way.

I can't think of anything at this time.

I like the full integration of Serrala into SAP, it makes everything much easier. The applications run very stably, without major outages, and that is definitely a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup of Serrala with the help of the Serrala consultants was very straightforward.

Our company is using paymenta and ASM module I appreciate lot  local requirement for paymenta. Plus bank connectivity.

As a complex sotware it get aome time to understand the customizing for beginning consultants (customer internal)

Recently we have make verification of payee operational and also Serrala Smart Eye cloud. Recommendation of data for smart eye cloud is much better than old solution

I find Serrala user-friendly, allowing me to take control of my actions without always needing the help of IT. I also appreciate the promise of more user functionality and the potential to automate more processes. We had good support to implement it, which made the initial setup easier.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

I feel there needs to be a better understanding of FS2 collections. Also, more integration with SAP or other Serrala products would be beneficial.

Serrala automates bank statement postings and will tackle payment fraud once FS2 Payments is live. It's user-friendly, letting me control actions without constant IT help.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I like the automatic processing by Serrala and the logical structure of the booking rules. These features are valuable because they automatically book many transactions. As a result, employees no longer have to manually book simple payments, which saves us some personnel costs.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

We have a relatively recent release and there is only little AI integration. Competing products are further along in development. The initial setup was difficult because the system logic was not yet well understood.

Serrala automatically processes our account statements and posts many transactions, allowing us to save on personnel costs by reducing manual postings of simple payments by employees.

The service is overall very good, especially the provision of a free training or course on the SAP tool AutoBank.

Sometimes it takes a little longer to process the tickets.

With AutoBank, we use a highly specialized software solution for automating payment receipt processing as well as processing electronic bank statements.

I like the user experience of Serrala, especially the simplicity of processing invoices. The hands-on flow is also very pleasant. Additionally, it offers good visibility for audit purposes.

We have some challenges in implementing the Peppol legislation, where we need to process XML files. These are still in a next phase and need some optimizations.

I use Serrala for invoice verification workflows and payment automation, which makes processing easier. It also helps with Saleal analytics.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I like that Serrala is an end-to-end solution. It can process credits (SBI) and we were able to automate the credit process, as well as the reading of account statements up to the posting of payments. Additionally, we had good support from Serrala during the implementation.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

The posting of customer deductions (cost charges) is still not working. The charges are too complex, and currently, we are posting manually due to the complexity.

I use Serrala to automate the credit process and the processing of account statements up to the posting of payments.

The products, in our case Autobank, are very well adapted to the use cases, and Serrala provides good support and knowledge exchange among the users. Additionally, they take feedback and continuously optimize the products. Very good update structure. In 2024, we expanded our product landscape with the module solution Collections from Serrala.

Often, one doesn't really know exactly what the products are capable of, as only the basic things are set up according to customer requirements during implementation. However, this problem is known and is being addressed by Customer Success.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serrala has managed to increase our automation rate in the bank from 84% to almost 93%. Additionally, it increases the flexibility to adjust accounting rules without having to rely on SAP programmers. Another advantage is that our manual Excel reporting has been replaced. The manual distribution of bookings has also been replaced by work inventories. Reporting is simplified and the added value across multiple products increases.

Whenever there has been a question, I hear back from them the same day, often within the same hour. Payference has integrated very well with our accounting system (SAGE) and made the paper trail far simpler.

The default setting of 24 months' history for A/R aging.

It is set up to send out email with the relevant invoice at predetermined moments so that the receiver can immediately see a copy of the original invoice and move on to processing it for payment. This saves us the time of 1) creating the email and 2) searching for the right invoice to send out with the emailed collection notice.
