I use Semaphor as white-labeled BI software for in-app analytics and as an internal analytics tool. I like the flexibility to suppress and customize exposed elements for our users through token parameters and user roles, and its powerful, intuitive dashboard-building experience. I can let application users build self-service dashboards through curated datasets, while our internal BI team shares curated dashboards. It molds to our application’s native flow and feel for a seamless integration, and lets users surface trends in an intuitive way while still offering the depth of major enterprise BI platforms. Semaphor has strong embed capabilities with great locale support, allowing us to expose it as our BI tool to an international customer base. It also integrates tightly with our data warehouse and development workflow. I can create a true CI/CD process, and natively version-control data models and dashboard configurations. Semaphor also allows us to easily provision row-level security from our data warehouse through their powerful Unified Security feature. Semaphor’s knowledgeable support team quickly and accurately made customizations for specific edge cases. Its extensive API endpoints and iframe capabilities also let us stand up an MVP of our reporting suite in less than a week so it was very quick to transition from our old provider. Semaphor's powerful MCP server is also positively transforming how my team, and our application users build dashboards increasingly faster and more accurately. We see ourselves growing with Semaphor as SaaS becomes increasingly AI-first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find that Semaphor, as a relatively new product, lacks the community that some legacy platforms have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
