**What do you like best about Seafile?**

What I like best about Seafile is that managing folders, libraries, and healthcare related files feels properly organized without making daily work complicated. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also create health education content for social media, so I regularly handle nutrition plans, consultation records, follow-up reports, educational graphics, and healthcare documents during regular work. Creating folders, arranging files, searching records, and checking older documents feels simple even during busy schedules. I also like that file libraries and folder structure help keep different healthcare and educational files separated in a more organized way from one place.

Features related to file management, search, sharing, synchronization, document access, and file organization fit naturally into my regular workflow without making storage handling confusing. Uploading files, moving documents between folders, and managing PDFs or reports also feels smooth most of the time during normal use. The platform also feels lightweight during regular use and opening folders or accessing stored files does not take too much time. Overall, Seafile has been useful for keeping healthcare documents, educational resources, and content related files more properly arranged and easier to manage during daily activities.

**What do you dislike about Seafile?**

While managing many folders, reports, PDFs, and media files together, finding specific files inside larger folder structures can sometimes take a little extra navigation during regular work. Also, some setup and management sections feel slightly more technical compared to simpler cloud storage platforms.

**What problems is Seafile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seafile is helping me keep healthcare documents, educational content, consultation records, and follow-up files more properly organized during daily work. Earlier, handling PDFs, reports, media files, and different folders from multiple locations used to make file management a little time consuming during busy schedules.

Now it is easier to arrange files inside libraries and folders, search older records, manage shared documents, and keep healthcare and educational content separated in a more structured way. Features related to file synchronization, document access, file organization, and folder management help make daily work feel less confusing.

Another benefit for me is that important consultation files, nutrition reports, and educational resources stay easier to access whenever needed. It also helps save time during regular work because documents and folders remain more properly arranged from one place.

**What do you like best about Seafile?**

I love how solid, reliable, and perfectly tailored Seafile is for real estate document work. It's straightforward with no unnecessary features, fitting our small team’s daily workflow. I really appreciate the clean and organized folder structure, which makes navigating so easy. I can create separate folders for each property location, individual tenant files, and legal contracts, keeping everything neatly categorized. The automatic file sync across all my devices is another feature I rely on, ensuring all contracts and documents are up to date, whether I'm in the office or out checking properties. The fine-grained permission controls are invaluable for handling sensitive tenant data, allowing me to set precise access levels for different team members. I also benefit from its built-in file version history, safeguarding against mistakes by allowing me to restore previous versions of files. Lastly, I appreciate how lightweight and stable it is, never lagging even when handling large files.

**What do you dislike about Seafile?**

First, the user interface feels a bit dated and not very intuitive for new team members. The layout is functional, but it’s plain and lacks modern visual guidance. When I onboard new administrative staff, they take extra time to get used to navigating folder structures, finding permission settings, and locating version history. Menus are tucked into small dropdowns, and some key features aren’t easy to spot at a glance. Unlike mainstream cloud tools with straightforward dashboards, Seafile has a steeper little learning curve for people who aren’t tech-savvy. Second, custom folder branding and template organization are pretty limited. In real estate work, we rely heavily on standardized folder structures for every property, tenant, and maintenance case. Right now, I can’t save a custom folder template to replicate the same structure across new projects quickly. I have to manually create each subfolder every time, which adds repetitive manual work. I also can’t add custom labels, color-code folders, or tag files for quicker filtering—something that would help me sort property categories and priority records much faster.

**What problems is Seafile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seafile organizes our scattered document storage by centralizing files, controls messy versioning by saving updates, ensures secure sharing with access permissions, and resolves remote access issues through device sync.

**What do you like best about Seafile?**

I really appreciate Seafile's EU-hosted, fully encrypted storage architecture, which keeps all candidate resumes and confidential client contracts on European servers and removes the compliance stress from mainstream cloud drives that route data abroad. The granular layered folder permission system is irreplaceable for our HR workflows, allowing me to split access tier by tier, which prevents accidental exposure of sensitive data. The traceable password-protected expiring sharing links are extremely useful for client communication, as they log every view and download and provide clear audit trails. I also love the reliable file version history that prevents errors from circulating outdated file copies to clients. Lastly, its lightweight performance works smoothly for bulk resume uploads, which is great when I'm compiling dozens of candidate profiles.

**What do you dislike about Seafile?**

The mobile interface has weak multi-file upload stability, which creates frequent disruptions during my on-site client visits across Hannover. Whenever I select three or more scanned documents for batch uploads, the transfer process frequently freezes, gets stuck mid-progress bar, or terminates without any clear error prompt. I have to repeatedly refresh the mobile page, reselect all files and retry uploading, wasting precious in-person discussion time. When time is tight during urgent cooperation talks, I’m forced to abandon Seafile mobile entirely, attach each scanned file one by one into separate work emails and send them afterward.

**What problems is Seafile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Seafile for GDPR-compliant storage, secure external sharing, and traceable document access. It resolves data compliance, access control, and sharing risks, and prevents document chaos with version history. Seafile supports EU-located storage, vital for our HR agency's regulatory needs.

**What do you like best about Seafile?**

Sealife platform is very quick and effective in syncing files, specifically their self hosting flexibity is very good, when compared to the other platforms out there. This flexible hosting, it gives us complete control over the data. It also handles large files and provides strong security for any shared document.

**What do you dislike about Seafile?**

Their initial setup and configuration is bit technical and time-consuming, needed more technical expertise to handle it upfront. Their interface is functional, but still needs more polishing and to should be intuitive like some other cloud-based alternatives.

**What problems is Seafile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seafile solves the need of having a secure and controlled file storage platform and sharing, also it is specifically effective in terms when it is a self-hosted environment. It also helps our team to collaborate effectively on maintaining and sharing files via our centralised systems, where we can retain full ownership of our data and comply with the privacy and compliance policy.

**What do you like best about Seafile?**

I use Seafile to store my files, and it allows my documents to be stored safely on the cloud without getting lost. I like that Seafile is available on the Google Play Store, which makes it easy for me to transfer documents from my Android phone to the Seafile cloud. It's fast and reliable, and downloading files from the internet to my phone is no longer a problem because I can simply transfer them to Seafile. Seafile is faster to set up and secure than the alternative I used before.
