What do you like best about Screaming Frog Services?

The fact that it's a desktop application and you can leave long scanning jobs running for a very long time while you get on with the other work is great. You're not dependent on a cloud-based solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Screaming Frog Services?

Sometimes the presentation of the data isn't quite as handy as some other tools. It's a bit more of a tool for the technically able and not just for a non-technical user. I would not expect a website business owner to use a tool such as Screaming Frog but it's great in terms of collecting data for SEO, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Screaming Frog Services:

Use Screaming Frog for free to scan as many sites as you wish. You really only have to pay for the license when you end up scanning larger sites or you want more detailed information. It's a great tool on its own, even the free version, so just try it for free and if you need to expand your use, only pay for it then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Screaming Frog Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

Screaming Frog is great because it allows me to scan an entire website no matter how large it is, which is one of the restrictions that you get with other SEO software (in that you can often only scan a thousand pages).

The other advantage of Screaming Frog is that you can refine your analysis. You can look at vast quantities of data in a very short space of time, and you can export the data to Excel for further analysis if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
