It helps solve planning, budgeting, resource management, and cost management problems for me. I really like how it makes work much easier to track and improve where needed. The Gantt charts are great for displaying project schedules, as they help identify task dependencies and monitor progress. My organization switched from Microsoft Excel because Planview ProjectAdvantage offers centralized project management instead of dealing with multiple spreadsheets. **What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?** Sometimes, Planview ProjectAdvantage is very complex, making working difficult because it has a lot of features. It also has a high implementation cost, especially for smaller companies. Project setup and configuration is time consuming because of calendars and schedules, defining work breakdowns, creating project templates, and setting milestones and dependencies. Additionally, it provides the tool to create various diagrams, which as we all know are necessary to have a better understanding of the project and its flow of activities, which is quite useful if we consider that Sciforma already does this for us and that we should not do an additional diagram. Another point in its favor is that it has the reporting tool, in which it provides us with objective information about how the project is developing, with which we can make estimates and calculate its progress, as well as determine the current status of the project. draft. Sciforma offers a well user experience for our project managers, provides various reports (project, portfolio, resources,...) and help us to take the good decisions about our capacity plan. It is very easy to navigate and I recommend this tool in companies that have employee that are change averse. **What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?** The Backend interface is really odd to use, there should be a way to get prior version of form instead of creating a backup. We should be able to see a preview of the form and see the code to make the development and troubleshooting process easier and faster. In essence, we deserve to have a very intuitive way of doing report and also a way to troubleshoot it. Maybe by mimicking what's done with IDEs, for exemple being able to debug a report, see the value of different variable instead of display it in the form, save it, refresh the page in sciforma and see **Recommendations to others considering Planview ProjectAdvantage:** use the feature as is, avoid customization (especially with reports, as it's hard to learn how to do it, tedious to set up and maintain) **What problems is Planview ProjectAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to give the manager better information about the utilization of there resources. With this tool we can now understand what are the challenge of planning (ex: a team is working on some small support issues and they do not tell the team about it. with sciforma we are able to quantify this and work our way to a better communication in the team. ### 9. It is also very easy to deploy. It is flexible to meet our workflow. It includes many PM methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, Critical Chain Path, and others. These methodologies are included at no additional cost. It also includes the function to do mass rescheduling of projects and resources. You have the ability to tailor your views, and auto-populate screens and data based on your workflow. This tool keeps my function simple and efficient. I highly recommend it. **What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?** I would like to see that ideas submitted in Idea Management be anonymous.
