I find SAS Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering & Security Intelligence intuitive and easy to use, and users don’t have a large learning curve. I like how easy it is to configure workflows for different users and investigators, and to segregate responsibilities so sensitive information, including staff incidents, isn’t shared. I find it helpful for meeting SLAs for EDDs, completing reviews on time, checking that everything is done correctly, and automating nine-month reviews. It also makes it easier to back up information. I like that it checks for an existing case on the same account before creating a new alert or case, which helps avoid duplicate alerts and lets the user choose whether to continue or stop. Calibrating workflow rules is easy, and the approval steps and audit trail help provide accountability, especially for sensitive cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think users could handle more of the operations themselves, like calibrating rules, instead of needing a developer to fix and test them behind the scenes. It would help to test rules online, check for false positives, and get admin approval before applying them. I also see a possible use for AI in repetitive processes and reviews. The initial setup wasn’t easy and had a learning curve, though moving from SAS Enterprise Case Management to SAS Viya was seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
