What do you like best about SAP Transportation Management?

I like how SAP Transportation Management brings transportation planning and execution together in one platform. I appreciate its route optimization, freight cost management, shipment tracking, and carrier collaboration, which help improve operational efficiency and give me better visibility across transportation processes. I also appreciate its integration with other SAP solutions for smoother data exchange, better decision-making, more reliable deliveries, and help controlling logistics costs. What do you dislike about SAP Transportation Management?

I found the initial setup moderately challenging because configuring transportation planning rules, freight processes, master data, and SAP integrations required technical expertise. I’d like a more intuitive interface, simpler configuration, more guided setup tools, and clearer documentation. Route optimization and freight planning could be more flexible with unexpected delays, schedule changes, and last-minute shipments.
