What do you like best about SAP Responsible Design and Production?

SAP Responsible Design and Production ensures that the challenges posed by sustainability and compliance are handled systematically and efficiently, more specifically, companies struggling with packaging and product lifecycle regulations. It will help to gather information on the materials, impact on the environment, and compliance regulations in one system. As such, it will be easy to assess whether the products comply with sustainability objectives and other compliance rules. What do you dislike about SAP Responsible Design and Production?

The platform is rather complicated to use initially for those teams that do not have enough experience dealing with sustainability reporting or regulations. Some functionalities need to be configured first in order to provide the user with the possibility to work with them. The user interface itself is rather simple to use but not necessarily intuitive. One also has to navigate from one section to another. Accuracy and completeness of data are crucial for efficient usage of the system. In some instances, creation of reports and analysis might be somewhat difficult. The cost of using the system together with implementation efforts might also be a problem for some users.
