What do you like best about SAP Document and Reporting Compliance?

I got this from three reports, did the formatting manually, and sent an email using a report that was a bit different from the finance report, which was sent out during the same week. It's a bit embarrassing. The question of what was right was the same question I was asked before; I couldn't answer it without getting help from two departments. The stakeholder view is now created from the same info that powers the submission numbers used in the portal, so you'll always get the same numbers across all channels. What do you dislike about SAP Document and Reporting Compliance?

It took two weeks to get the first reporting schema set up. Obviously, all the data you need on the mapping screen should be in order – if not, it'll invalidate the whole submission. To be honest, I've corrected my master data first and then run my schema with some sample data generated and picked up for filing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP Document and Reporting Compliance solving and how is that benefiting you?

DRC is based on SAP BTP and uses the CDS entities used for statutory reporting. There's a submission log on top of the document, so I've got a record of submissions for every number I write. Authentication reuse means using the same role as defined for each S/4HANA role, so there's no need for separate accounts. There's nothing at all between the ledger and the reporting layer. No extra middleware needed. We've got one version of the truth for each message, and we've also got rid of all the different versions of the same PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
