**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vusala J. | IT Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I like best about SAP Analytics Cloud is that it combines reporting, planning, and analytics in one platform. The real-time connection with SAP data sources is very convenient, and the dashboards are interactive and easy to customize. It helps turn complex data into clear insights without needing heavy technical skills.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud is that it can feel quite complex for new users, particularly during the initial setup and onboarding. Performance can also slow down when working with large datasets, which can make analysis feel less smooth. In addition, some of the more advanced features come with a learning curve before you can use them effectively.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud solves the problem of scattered reporting and manual planning by bringing analytics, reporting, and forecasting into one tool. This helps me save time, reduce errors, and make faster, data-driven decisions using real-time and visual insights.

 ### 2. A Powerful Platform for Unified Analytics and Business Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharamveer p. | Application Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

The biggest benefit is how it combines planning, analytics, and visualization in one tool. Building dashboards that tell a clear story about performance has made discussions with stakeholders more productive. The ability to slice and dice data interactively also helps uncover trends without deep technical work.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud is the learning curve, especially for new users. Some features around data modeling and configuration are not very intuitive at first and require time or support to understand properly. The interface can also feel a bit crowded in places, which makes simple tasks take longer than expected until you get used to it.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud solves the problem of scattered data and disconnected reporting across teams. Earlier, insights were spread across spreadsheets and different tools, which made it hard to get a consistent view of performance. By bringing analytics, dashboards, and planning into one platform, it helps create a single source of truth. This improves visibility, reduces manual reporting work, and allows faster, more confident decision-making across the organization.

 ### 3. Unifies Analytics with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Лука . | Back End Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I use SAP Analytics Cloud primarily for building dashboards and running planning and forecasting workflows across finance and operations. It helps me solve data fragmentation by unifying inputs from multiple backend systems into a single source of truth for dashboards and reporting. What I like most is how it combines BI, planning, and predictive analytics into a single platform, which simplifies the overall architecture. This eliminates the need to move data between separate tools and reduces latency issues. The initial setup was straightforward, with prebuilt integrations simplifying the process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I have issues with SAP Analytics Cloud's performance when handling large datasets or complex models. It would be helpful if engineers had more control over data modeling and execution, like better indexing strategies, partitioning options, and visibility into query plans to optimize processing. Also, while the initial setup with prebuilt integrations is straightforward, it gets more complex with non-SAP systems or advanced planning models, requiring careful data modeling, security configurations, and performance tuning.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Analytics Cloud to solve data fragmentation by unifying inputs into a single source for dashboards. It combines BI, planning, and predictive analytics, eliminating data movement between tools and reducing latency.

 ### 4. Efficient Data Insights with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarun V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I use SAP Analytics Cloud to create and share dashboards with different teams, and I find it easy to use for these purposes. I particularly like its strong connection with SAP DSP, as it lets me effectively utilize DSP data models by creating a pipeline between DSP and SAP Analytics Cloud efficiently. The Data Analyzer feature is another aspect I appreciate; it allows me to have a detailed view of raw data and apply filters for a granular view, which helps me ask the right questions to stakeholders. The ability to use DSP models directly in SAP Analytics Cloud is beneficial for creating quick insights on top of the models.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I find the limited number of functions while creating calculated measures/columns in the story frustrating. This limitation increases dependency on DSP models for changes. Adding more functions and flexibility around coding for calculations, similar to DAX in PowerBI, would be beneficial.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Analytics Cloud to create dashboards and share them with different teams. It solves the problem of connecting with DSP data models, allowing me to create pipelines effectively. The Data Analyzer gives me a detailed view of raw data, helping me ask the right questions to stakeholders.

 ### 5. SAP Analytics Cloud Makes Data Easy for Everyday Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Girishchand B. | Test Engineer Level 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I like most about SAP Analytics Cloud is how easy it makes understanding data for everyday users. I don’t have to be a technical expert to view dashboards or drill down into reports. The interface feels clean and straightforward, and I can quickly find the information I’m looking for.

I also appreciate that everything is available in one place—reports, charts, and KPIs—which saves time compared with switching between multiple tools. The real-time data updates are helpful for tracking performance and making faster decisions. Overall, it makes reporting simpler, more efficient, and better suited to daily business use.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud is that it can feel slow at times, especially when I’m working with large datasets or more complex dashboards. Some of the advanced features also come with a learning curve, so new users may need extra time and proper training before they can use the tool confidently.

In certain scenarios, the customization options can feel limited, and even small report changes sometimes take more steps than I expect. Pricing can also be on the higher side, which may not be ideal for smaller teams or organizations.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud solves the problem of having data scattered across different systems and reports. Earlier, it was difficult and time-consuming to get a clear view of performance from multiple sources. With SAP Analytics Cloud, all the important data and KPIs are available in one place.

This helps me save time because I don’t have to rely on multiple tools or manual reports. The real-time dashboards make it easier to track progress, identify issues quickly, and support better decision-making. Overall, it improves visibility, reduces manual effort, and helps the team work more efficiently

 ### 6. Unified Analytics and Planning Made Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harvey A. | Data Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud stands out for how seamlessly it brings analytics, planning, and predictive capabilities into one unified platform. I love that you can move from exploring data to building visualizations to creating forecasts—all without switching tools. Its intuitive, drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to turn complex data into clear, interactive dashboards, and the real-time connection to SAP and non-SAP data ensures decisions are always based on the latest information. Overall, it transforms analytics into a faster, smarter, and more collaborative experience.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

One challenge with SAP Analytics Cloud is that performance can sometimes slow down when working with large or complex datasets, especially in stories with many visualizations. Some features feel less flexible compared to other BI tools, and certain advanced customizations require workarounds. The learning curve can also be a bit steep for new users, particularly when blending data or working with planning models. While the platform is powerful, these limitations can occasionally make development and optimization more time-consuming than expected.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud solves the problem of scattered, inconsistent data by bringing reporting, planning, and predictive analytics into a single, integrated platform. Instead of juggling multiple tools, I can create dashboards, run forecasts, and collaborate on business plans all in one environment. This improves efficiency, reduces manual work, and ensures everyone is working with the same real-time information. It also helps speed up decision-making, because insights are easier to access and share across teams. Overall, it transforms data into something more actionable, consistent, and aligned with business goals.

 ### 7. Powerful All-in-One Analytics & Planning—Ideal for SAP-Integrated Organizations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DIP NILESH S. | Operations & Inventory Coordinator (Supply Chain / Warehouse Operations), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a powerful, all-in-one analytics and planning platform that combines business intelligence, data visualization, and enterprise planning in a single cloud-based solution. It works especially well for organizations already using SAP systems and looking for tight integration, standardized reporting, and advanced planning capabilities.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

Steep learning curve for new users

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps us solve issues around fragmented data, manual reporting, and disconnected planning by providing a single, cloud-based platform that combines analytics, reporting, and planning capabilities from SAP SE. It centralizes data from multiple sources, reduces reliance on spreadsheets, and gives us real-time visibility into key performance indicators. As a result, we spend less time preparing reports and reconciling numbers and more time analyzing insights. This has improved data accuracy, strengthened collaboration across teams, and enabled faster, more confident decision-making, especially for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.

 ### 8. Planning with SAP integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud is that analytics, reporting, and planning are fully integrated into a single solution. This reduced significantly the need to export data into Excel and manipulate it further. This solution was mainly used for financial and performance reporting. The ability of the dashboards to update automatically and be consistent is also great, provided that the data model is properly set up, and the connection to other SAP systems is reliable. In addition, collaboration capabilities, which allow commenting on reports and ensuring numbers are aligned across teams, were also useful.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

The biggest con is that of the learning curve, especially for people who are not familiar with products from SAP. In the first weeks of using the software, navigating and configuring it was complicated. Some features are not easy to find without documentation. Creating data models and using complex dashboards requires some technical knowledge and time. In some cases, performance can be a problem when dealing with large datasets and complex calculations. This causes slower loading times.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps address the challenge of disconnected and manual analytics processes that are heavily dependent on spreadsheet and multiple reporting tool usage. Prior to the use of SAP Analytics Cloud, the process of using multiple reporting tools and spreadsheets was such that the data was exported and then manually changed, followed by revalidation of the same. This was not only time-consuming but also increased the probability of errors and discrepancies in the data. With the use of SAP Analytics Cloud, the process of using the same data and keeping the same numbers and assumptions for the entire team was greatly improved, and the process of planning and forecasting was also greatly improved.

 ### 9. Streamlined Reporting with Room for Improvement

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I really like SAP Analytics Cloud for its tight integration with the SAP ecosystem, which allows for reporting and planning to be combined in one platform. Its intuitive interface makes it easier to use. It has eliminated excel-based reporting and reduced data silos across departments, providing a single source of truth with real-time insights and self-service dashboards for business users. The integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW as core data sources is valuable, and the initial setup was straightforward, especially in basic system configuration and connections to SAP data sources.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

Some advanced features feel complex to configure, especially for non-technical users. Performance can sometimes slow down with large datasets or high detail models.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud eliminates Excel-based reporting and data silos, providing a single source of truth with real-time insights and self-service dashboards for business users.

 ### 10. Powerful Data Visualization, Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ekaterina K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I love the data visualization tools in SAP Analytics Cloud. It's much easier to share insights and manage data when it's presented in a visual way. Once I got familiar with the interface, it became very clear and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

The interface is a bit clunky and very hard to understand what is going on from the beginning. Sometimes I feel like there is too much going on on the screen. As a new user, it would be cool to be either onboarded better or have a simplified view. It's a bit hard to create your first chart or document.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud solves the problem of cloud data transparency and management. It makes sharing insights and managing data easier with its data visualization tools.
